Raciper D Medication

I have acute gastritis and chest burn, for which I have been prescribed Raciper-D. Are there any side effects and is it an effective drug?

This contains the active ingredients Esomeprazole and Domperidone, it is used to prevent or treat conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis.

And all medications carry the risk of causing side effects, ones that may occur when you take this one can include nausea, dizziness and stomach pain.

I've been taking Raciper 40 since June 2010 just after an angioplasty (2 nos stent HSA been inserted). Now, this month I have gone back to my doctor for a routine check up, and this time he has told me to stop taking Raciper 40, but after stopping treatment for only three days, I am now suffering from strong acid reflux. For your information, I use to take Modilip ASG 75mg everyday. What can I do now to help alleviate this symptom and what are other known side effects associated with taking Raciper 40 everyday? Thanks!
