Purepac Alprazolam

American generics in general have a pretty poor reputation in the rest of the world, and are priced higher than brands in almost any other country. Alprazolam has been removed from the UL NHS and is only available as Xanax brand - probably higher priced than in the US!
We are forced to access our alps from other countries, the finest being found in Belgium, Argentina & Serbia.
I have tried several US alps, kindly sent by kindred spirits there, but only one, the 1 & 2mg by GREENSTONE, were any good at all. Sandoz' GG249 are amongst the poorest I've had.
I am, however, interested in the yellow Purepac bars, which, being owned by Actavis, who make the best generic BZDs in the UK, I imagine (and have heard) should be of fine quality.
My problem is that no US pharmacy will ship these to me. Has anyone any idea how I could get my hands on a couple of weeks' worth to see how they measure up? I believe a month's script may be had in certain pharmacies for only $4, correct me if my information is faulty.
Anybody out there able to help? I am sure we can find a way for me to lay hands on 90 of these '039' yellow things. Just a little thought, and you in the USA would know the system better than I do. I'd like to see how they compare with my favourite Ksalol and brand name U94 Xanax. Not to mention the only acceptable American alprazolam I ever had, the Greenstones.
By the way, I know generic meds are meant to contain the correct amount of active ingrediemt and to be as effective as brand, but we all know this is hardly ever the case!
So I would really appreciate if someone came up with a way I could get a month's worth of Purepac 2mg tds., ie 90 tablets. Get thinking. I could try to return any help given with lines to things YOU may find difficult or too expensive. I think our I/r oxycodone may be cheaper than yours if you need analgesia.

It's hell living here with unaffordable Xanax and now Soma (carisoprodol) being withdrawn from the market throughout Europe - the only med that ever helped my lumbar problem. Could kill for a Watson Dan three times a day too!!!

Hi,
I live in the U.S. and am prescribed Xanax. Oxycodone is cheap here too. I get 180 "R" 039 yellow bars made by purepac, every month (when that brand is in stock), although I hardly use too much of them.
