Please Help, Need Caring Dr In Morehead City Nc/opiates
UpdatedHi- I am moving and my primary care Dr. has ben treating me for an umbrella of issues...mostly fibro, intense flare ups, etc. I honestly cannot move my joints to walk or drive...3 years ago, I had such an intense reaction to giving birth that I was put on the fentynal patch 75 every two days as my body metabolizes medication very quickly. When I started to feel better- I asked to be taken off of it as I did not want to be on such heavy medication...I do not want my body full of this crap- but I also HAVE to function. I have numbness and pain in both hands. My joints in feet and hands are starting to look disfigured. BUT NEED HELP PLEASE....my Dr has to refer me out b/c of the new FDA regulations- I was as of two months ago on 30mg of ms contin 3x day, 20 mg of oxycodone 3-4 times per day/as needed either half or one, 350 mg soma 5 times a day...some days, this combo barely touched my pain. Half of the month or more I do not sleep. In the past month, she has reduced me to 2 10mg oxycodone and my me contin....I am having a major flare up- and have to be referred out. Does ANYONE have or know of a caring, knowledgable Dr who understands that pain cannot always be seen? Although, I have tears right know streaming down my face as it hurts to be sitting and my fingers are not functioning well. PLESE HELP ME
