Watson Pharmaceuticals lists this as being a Cal-Gest tablet, which contains 500mgs of Calcium Carbonate, it is most commonly used to treat GERD, heart burn, ulcers, and gastritis.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dry mouth, flatulence, and funny taste in mouth.
