Percocet Drug Screen
UpdatedI have been taking 1 Adderal and 2 Percocet for several months now. I went to my Dr.and he had me do a drug screening. A couple days later the nurse called and stated that the Dr. wanted me to come in asap to do another. I went in a few days later and did another screening. Today I receive a letter stating that both test came back negative for narcotics, and I would not be perscribed anymore because it was clear that I was not taking them. Which is not true. I started taking the Percocet in August due to a herniated disc in my lower back that is sitting on my cyatic nerve. My Dr gave my a monthly script for the pain meds and referred me to a specialist. The specialist gave me injections that did not work, and tried to get me to put a Nuro stemulator in my back ( NOT) and said I wasn't a surgical candidate. HA. A couple months pass and the pains have got worse and more often, and the meds don't help at all. (Sometimes, I can't walk long, and have to sit for a lil while) So, I called the specailist to see if there was a surgery I could get to correct me, and they said to go back and get MRI to see if there is any nerve damage. I went back to my Dr. he sent me for another MRI to see if there was nerve damage (NONE) then put me on 3 Percocet at higher dose, and again not helping the pain. Thats when I did my first drug screening. Now what should I do? Go up there with my meds and insist on another drug screen tomorrow? HELP. I don't want to be on pills anyways, I want surgery. BUT I'M NOT A LIAR and don't/won't go down on the BLACK LABELED LIST. What would u do?
