Did this manufacturer raise the price of this medicine in the last 4 weeks? I am not insured. I have been on this med long term. For the last 2 yrs I paid 96.?? for 180 pills, about 3 mos. ago the price went down to 81.?? I just went to get them today and the price was 223.24 for 180 pills the same amount I have always gotten. The store said it was the manufacturer raising the price. I can't afford more than 200.00 I could barely pay the Dr. and 80.00 for my script. How do I find out if the manufacturer actually raised the price or if the store is feeding me a line of crap? Any help would be great! Thank you! ## hi I'm not sure exactly if they raised the price or not. I won't be surprised if they did since they have newly established FDA narcotic regulations. I am uninsured ...

of oxycoton generic and brand ## And what did you want to know? There are many available since the generics are on the market now and they all have different markings depending on which company made them. ## is there a mix of tylenol and oxycoton and if so, what is it called? ## Percocet contains oxycodone and tylenol (acetminophen). Originally Oxycontin was a time released form of oxycodone made with a wax so it would release over 6 to 12 hours, in theory. However, since 2006 the FDA had approved a Opana which is nothing like Oxycodone and sold as Oxycontin. Usually these pills will have OP on one side and dosage on other such as 10, 20, 40, or 80. Many people realize how dangerous taking Percocets are due to the Tylenol they contain due to the severe liver damage they can cause, even ...

I am taking 10mg Oxymorphone twice a day, with Vicodin 7.5/325 for breakthrough. If I have occasion to need the Vic I take 1 tablet and it knocks me out the first day and renders me too drowsy and weak to be useful for 2 or 3 more days! Any advice/suggestions? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? All narcotics can cause sedation and drowsiness, so there's no way to say which one won't cause you such a problem. Everyone is different and the only thing you can really do is try other ones to see which one causes you the least amount of problematic side effects. Percocet might be an option that you could discuss with your doctor. It contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and the Oxycodone tends to give energy to more people than many other narcotics. I have been taking hydrocodone 10 mg 3x a day for a year and I was just wanting to know if it would be out of my system in 4 days? ## 1st, why do you need them out of your system? 2nd, maybe, it depends on your body, you can try to flush with cranberry juice. If this is for a drug test for a job and they are your prescription you can tell them you are prescribed the pills and they won't hold it against you

Is there anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (200 mile radius) where I could get Yellow Norco 10/325, produced by Watson? I was told by Watson customer service that the yellow are no longer made, and that there is absolutely no difference. After reading comments on different medical web sites, it seems that many are having a miserable time of it, and several mentioned Walgreen's as having the yellow tablets. If this is not possible, what other drug might have the same properties? My doctor is OK with trying something new, but he's Kaiser - with 1,350 patients. He just does not have the time to research what may or may not work for me! ## Hello, Ann! How are you? That is correct, the yellow ones are no longer being manufactured, any pharmacy that still has them is just selling...

Went from 100 mcg fentynal to 25. Had a hard time going to 12 so went back to 25. Im wondering (since there's no way out of that withdrwal from hell), if I take it off for about 4 hours then put it back on for a couple hours would help lower my tolerance. Am I wasting my time and enduring more hell than necessary, or am I making some headway? Any and all suggestions are are welcome big or small. Thanks! ## Is your doctor helping you to taper off? If so, then you may want to ask them about Actiq, it's a Fentanyl lollipop that might enable you to taper the dosage even more, while still minimizing withdrawals. I know the concept of a medication in lollipop form seems rather strange and I'm not sure who thought of it, but it was done that way to allow control of the release of t...

I've had severe chronic pain for years. Pain dr. Gave me 7.5/325 hydrocodone. I have hep c and chronic anemia. I don't want either tylenol or Ib.. what can I ask for that has none of those and is stronger? Would a fentanyl patch work? ## Hello, Andrea! How are you feeling? Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic available, so it may not be wise to jump straight to it, because that's not going to leave you anywhere to go in the future, once you build up a tolerance. Learn more Fentanyl details here. There are several others that are stronger and don't contain NSAIDs. One would be Oxycodone, which is available in instant release, regular release and time released formulations. Learn more Oxycodone details here. There's also Morphine, Dilaudid and Opana. Is this a commonly used drug. And is it been proven to help with migraines. ## Hello, Tiffany! How are you? Sorry about the migraines! The name of the medication is actually Dilaudid, it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, which is a very potent narcotic and yes, it has proven to work so well for migraines, that it's usually the drug of choice to treat them, when someone ends up in the ER with a severe one. Since it is a narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Dilaudid details here. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have had the lortab 10mh & 5mg prescribed, but had 1 lose in my safe and it ends with aM3 , It's white and oval could just be hydorcone, but they are the same. Also would like to ask why and I see others have wondered why they quit making the blue tabs? they were stronger and help the disabled and hurting a lot better. ## Hello, Freckles! How are you? Can you please post back with the full imprint on the tablet? That is what would enable it to be identified, it is very difficult to try to do so from just a partial imprint. Thank you! Learn more Lortab details here. And the blue ones were changed to remove the dye from them, due to some people being sensitive or allergic to the dyes that were used. I have been on these pills for over 10 yrs. now. I have taken all different kinds of brands. To me they all have a different effect on the pain. But I have noticed that the blue Watson 540's have a better effect on the pain . I have talked to the pharmacist's about this and they say there is no difference in any of them ## The pharmacists don't want to freak anyone out and the differences aren't significant enough to affect most people that take any given medication…. But yes, there can be slight fluctuations in generic medications that can affect some people. They are allowed to differ from the name brand in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20%, the FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and, when it comes to most medic...

I found some brown and white capsules in an old first aid kit we assembled. They were in a small envelope marked "for pain". Would REALLY like to know what this is. Only imprint is AHR on each side with no numbers. I've looked and can't find anything I think it's because they are old. ## Eek! Yes, I'm guessing they are very old. The AHR logo is still used by Robins Pharm, but in accordance with modern regulations, their products now have a number following the AHR to enable them to be identified. Depending on how old that kit really was, it's hard to say what they might contain. Years ago, medications such as codeine were routinely included in such kits, because a prescription wasn't required for it at that time. And one of the products they still make cu...

Is there any diffence an the tecs and the 0636 version do they have same ingredents? ## Hi, Tom! How are you? Unfortunately, since the Tecs are Canadian and you didn't list an imprint, I can't tell you any specific details about them. But, I can tell you that the ones with the 0636 marking contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so they are a generic for Percocet, which is a narcotic analgesic. That means it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here. Can you post back with more details on the other tablet? If so, I'll gladly check for you! Thanks!

I'm just use to taking my medicine in pill form, and I'm having a hate time understanding the liquid dosage? I hope that makes sense to you because the pharmacies I've called confused me even more than I already am. ## In order for anyone to help you, you need to provide more specific details on the liquid dosage. What you've posted, 120ml is just a liquid measurement, it doesn't say how much of the active ingredients are in it. Usually, you'd see something on the label like 5/325 per 5ml or other, depending on the format the pharmacy uses and the relevant dosage. Learn more Lortab details here. If you post back with more specifics from the label, someone will gladly help you. Can you list the precise dosage details from the label? Thank you! However, you should ...

I go to ER 1-2x/mo for pain. Always same "cocktail" - Dilaudid, Toradol, Zofran, & Ativan. Works like a charm and I am usually in/out in about 3-4 hours. Only IV delivery seems to be effective. Doc would like me to be able to get these meds in some other way than ER due to excessive cost but can't seem to find a place willing to administer. Is there are reason I couldn't learn to do it at home? Would home health be an option? Is home health ever "on call?" ## Hello I am in the process of getting a pain pump but I have been hearing a lot about this homecare stuff and they come in and give you your meds I am 35 and not really thrilled about the pain pump but I can not hold on to my meds cause I always run out its not cause I take dubble or triple the amount at ...

Is this pill as strong as a OxyContin 80mg? I found it in my new apartment on floor by window ## They are the same. WARNING with no or low tolerance this dose COULD kill. Don't cut it either. Dump it down the toilet. Very dangerous esp to kids or pets. Don't mess with oxycodone at this high of a dose. It's only for ppl with a very high opioid tolerance. ## Actually, without knowing the markings on the tablet, no one can be certain if they are the same or not. From what has been posted, it could be assumed that they are, but only the markings on the tablet in question would enable someone to check and say with any certainty. Learn more Oxycontin details here. Can you post back with more details, such as the markings on it? If so, then I will gladly check the information on it...

Hi I was getting the yellow 10 mlg that say v 3601 but now I have the same pill except it's white instead of yellow. Is this the same pill please help! Thanks. ## White tablet, v 3601 is Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg ## I haven't seen this in white yet, however, many companies have recently been removing the dye in their tablets, due to the problems some people have had with being sensitive to, or allergic to the dyes being used. Learn more Lortab details here. However, if you received it from a legitimate pharmacy in the U.S. and the marking is the same, then it is probably safe to assume that the dye has just been removed. But if you're unsure, feel free to double check with your pharmacy, they shouldn't have a problem with checking it for you. Are there a...

I've been taking 50mg Tramadol, recommended as a "safe" long term medication for my Tail bone pain. Recently given sample pack of green and yellow Tramadol capsules. My heart feels weird with some light pains, Could the yellow/green Tramadol be fake or ingredients differ from the white tablets ? ## Hi Lucy! Anytime you feel like something may be affecting your heart, you should have it checked out by a doctor immediately. While there's a good chance that it's nothing, the risk of it being something dangerous is far too great to be posting on a free website and waiting for an answer. It is most likely some gas or acidity from the capsules, they probably contain some different inactive ingredients than the tablets, but I really can't stress enough how important it ...

10 years ago when I was a mover in NYC it was super easy, and affordable to pick an online doctor who would then call me, evaluate me and prescribe pain meds that they FedExed to me. It seems like those places don't exist anymore. These were real prescriptions. Does anyone know of a real doctor that still does this online? I wasted $210 on an office vistit at a "Pain management" place in Austin and they wanted to give me Tramadol. All that stuff does is make me dizzy and does nothing for my pain. Thanks for any help. ## Hi, Steven! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. However no, that type of prescribing isn't legal and actually never was, so severe crackdowns have been done to put an end to it. According to law, in order to prescribe anything for any reas...
