oblong pill , purple, nothing on it , white powder inside ## There is no medication called Roxicontin, there is Roxicodone and Oxycontin. They both contain Oxycodone, but the Oxycontin is time released and Roxicodone is not. As to what your pill is, if there are no markings, it is going to be very difficult to narrow down. If it was a legal, U.S. version of any type of Oxycodone, it would have an imprint of some type on it. By law they have to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The name brand Oxycontin originally had an OC on one side and a number on the other that denoted the dosage, the new product is almost the same, except the marking has been changed to an OP. This could be any one of a large number of over the counter items or foreign medications. ...

what happens if u put water on it? ## It gets wet. ## If you just get it damp/moist, it will start to dissolve the outer coating of the tablet. This should not be done, however, as it could result in the medication being released to quickly, resulting in an overdose. Opana is a narcotic pain medication, so it must be used very carefully and should only be taken as instructed by your doctor. Are there any other questions?

If you inject MS contin, you are risking instant DEATH! Don't do it. ## Well, I wouldn't say instant death, there is a good chance that there will be some suffering and misery involved first, at least until they pass out from the OD. You are correct, though, it can be deadly and is not something that anyone should try. There are reasons it is in a pill form and not meant to given by injection. Thanks for your post. ## About a week ago I crushed up an MS Contin pill that I take & injectind it into my thigh. I did it IM because it lasts longer in your body & helps a little more than IV injections. I was going through Optic Neuritis at the time & nothing was helping. I crushed up the pill, put that in boiling water, filtered it out a couple times, etc... I have done thi...

how to verify your medication is the real reformulated oxycontin pill. Is the OP a bigger pill than the OC? ## There have been a few comments that it is slightly bigger than the originals and the marking should tell you what it is. If it has an OP on one side and the dosage number on the opposite, then it is the new Oxycontin OP. Side effects are supposed to remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. is oxycontin op safe for patients with high blood pressure? ## There are no warnings listed and I know the doctor in the ER prescribed the regular release Oxycodone for me and my cardio doc also didn't have a problem with my taking it with my HBP. Most narcotics actually lower blood pressure and are more of a danger to someone with Hypotension. The only thing that has changed in the new OP formulation is the attempt to prevent abuse, by altering it so that if someone tries to crush or chew it, it retains its time released properties.
