Please Can You Tell Me How Long Codeine Stays In Your System If Having A Urine Screen

i got prescribed codeine phosphate by my doctor i was taking them for 2 and a half months i stopped taking them now as i am much better i was wondering how long it stays in your system for because i am taking a urine drug screen

Like most other narcotics, Codeine is usually detectable in urine for approximately 4 days, after taking it. This time frame, however, can vary depending on individual factors, such as your own metabolism, activity levels, overall health and etc.

If you were taking it by prescription, there is no need to worry, you just need to inform them of this, when you go in for testing.
