will oxycodone op show up the same on a urine drug test as oxycodone oc ## The actual medication name of what you are referring to is Oxycontin OP and Oxycontin OC and yes, they both will register the same on drug tests, because they both contain the same active ingredient, Oxycodone. The difference is that in spite of its being time released, people had still found ways to abuse the original formulation, the Oxycontin OC and get it to release all the medication at once. With the new Oxycontin OP, Purdue Pharma has specifically tried to prevent this type of abuse by making it harder for people to break the medication down and defeat the time released properties of it. I have got prescribed some medication and it is a pill that has p325 on it and it is purple and I just wanted to know if it has anything like oxycodone or hydrocone in it ## When was this prescribed? This is a medication called Balacet, which contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene. The Propoxyphene is a mild narcotic pain reliever, but the reason I am asking about when it was prescribed is because it was pull from the market by the FDA back in November and no pharmacy should still be providing you with these tablets. Propoxyphene was found to be cardiotoxic and its use has resulted in permanent injury to some people and, in some rare cases, death. Learn more:

I havebeen reading alot about these two drugs over the last 10 years or so. I used to work for EDS, I was placed in a General Motors Plant in Saginaw Michigan. Every thing was fine for about 8 years. Then as the doctors explainded that due to the tools we used the extended times that I had worked. I destroyed what they called the palmer arch. When this occurred over the course of about 6 months, I had to have part of my hand removed because since there was no blood flow into my fingers, they became infected and gaine greene set in. I was off for about 6 months trying to recover. EDS forced me back to work early with out the doctors okay. After returning to work I was bback for two days and my hand started to go blue and other colors. I was sent immediately back to the hospital where the...

I just don't see how that could be true the people who have told me this info are nit wits lol so somebody please help me thank you... ## Actually, you are correct, the letters or markings simply designate a different company and has nothing to do with the strength and efficacy of the tablets. Under federal law, each company that manufactures a prescription medication that is approved for sale...

I need a picture ## I am afraid we can't post pictures of all the 10mg Oxycodone tablets that are on the market, there are simply far too many. As Roxicodone and OxyIR it is available in generic formulations that are made by many different companies, then there are also the name brand products. Under federal law, they all have to have unique imprints on the tablet to enable their identification in case of emergency, so each one made by a different company looks different. You also have to take into consider the generic and name brand tablets of Percocet. Could you be more specific of what markings you wish to check or what formulation you are looking for? ## i found the official website w/ pic. hope that helps, took me forever to finally find this info online

I CANT FIND ANY PLACE HERE IN LA TO FILL MY PRESCRITION..DOES ANY ONE KNOW A PLACE I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND IN SEVERE PAIN,,AND I NEED MY OXYCONTIN#40MG, ## I am very sorry that you are having a problem. How are you trying to locate them? Are you actually going into the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand and asking if they can fill it, or are you calling them? The reason I ask is because if you are calling them, in most cases, you will not get an accurate answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer or a potential thief, so they will usually just tell you that they do not carry controlled substances. In addition, have you tried talking to your doctor about an alternative medication that you can use? There is a time released formulati...

My insurance will no longer pay for oxycodone or oxycoton. So what should I get ## Has your doctor suggested anything? There is a time released formulation of Morphine available as a generic and name brand, MS Contin: There is also a patch available, as both name brand and generic, that contains the narcotic Fentanyl: Since they are both narcotics, the side effects would be similar and can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

are the green 80mg oxycodone with the oc on it (the generics) still being manufactured as I was told there will be no more of them by apotex. Is this true ## The ones that had the OC marking were actually not generics, at all. They were the name brand, manufactured by Purdue, they just licensed some other pharmaceutical companies, like Ethex, as distributors. Once their supply is gone, however, then yes, they will all be replaced with the new product that has the OP marking. The manufacturing of generic Oxycontin was stopped awhile ago, due to the great amounts of them that were being stolen and diverted. With only one company manufacturing them, it is easier to keep track of the supply and whether or not any gets stolen and diverted to the street market. Are there any other comments or...

40MG OXCYCODONE EX WHERE TO FIND THEM ## Oxycodone is a controlled substance. You would need a prescription to obtain this drug, as it can also cause a high level of dependance (addiction). If you are referring to obtaining it in the black market, I cannot be of help to you; if not, then the best way to go about it is to schedule an appointment with your local doctor to discuss why you may need it and based on that, he or she can prescribe it to you. Do you have any other questions or concerns regarding this drug?

I was just prescribed this med as Previously I have been on 5/325 oxycodone x4 daily. ( for 3 years now) I cut them in half for 7.5 dose as prescribed for breakthrough pain x3 daily. I also take 200mg Ultram ER. once a day. Will this new med react differently in my system? Last longer or shorter term relief? Dr changed due to the apap and liver concerns. ## If you have been taking Oxycodone already, your reaction and side effects really shouldn't be any different, though since it is a higher dosage that you are getting all at once, since it's immediate release, they may be more pronounced. Such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. It also should last about the same amount of time, it just releases the medication faster than the regular release tablets that you were t...
