My husband, just had a rod takin out of his leg, and the gave him 10mg oxycodone, but one isnt helping. Wanted to see how many he could take safely to help with the pain.... ## It's kind of difficult to say given the limited information in your post. How tolerant is he to opiates? Has he been taking them for a long time? Learn more Oxycodone details here. When it comes to narcotics, a lot of it depends on the person's body and tolerance to them. Someone that's used to taking them regularly can tolerate much higher doses safely, than someone that rarely takes them. The best suggestion I can make is to call his doctor and tell them that the current dose isn't helping.

Then I took 1 10 mg of oxycodone, the day before yesyerday, will I have any in my system tommorow? Don't want too give a hint but I hope so... Hey anybody fill any oxycodone 30mg this week 8/2012 in Palm Beach County? If so, where? I need some help. My BCBS mail order pharmacy just turned me downand the local pharmacies usually tell me to come back every single day just to say come tomorrow again. I have been taking 20mg of oxycodone a day for six months. I took two 10mg oxycodone on Monday at midnight and have a drug test on Friday will I be clean? I got endocet for my last prescription vs oxycodone and tylenol and it doesnt seem to be giving me the same results - is it true it could have different fillers in it therefore not making it the same ## Yes ## It is not only the fillers that can be different, there can also be differences in the active ingredients between a name brand and a generic. The FDA does allow them to differ by as much as plus or minus 20%, they consider this to be an acceptable therapeutic difference. So, for instance if you are used to taking a certain generic that may have more of the active ingredient in it and you suddenly switch to the name brand that the FDA is more strict about, so it just has the exact amount, you could have problems from getting a lower dose and may find it is not as effective for you....

Due to the difficulties that may be involved with conforming the legitimacy of the prescription and tracking it, most pharmacies will not fill out of state prescriptions. My boyfriend has been ina pain clinic for years with severe back problems.He is on 60mg of oxycontin, and 15mg oxycodone topped with morphine. He tool a urine test and was told dilata was found inhis system.He SWEARS he did not take anything he should not because the pain clinic is a godsend to him and would niot jepordize his standing.Can a false-positive reading be the problem here??? I have been on norco 10/325 for about 5 yrs now and have had some issues with it working and talked with my pain dr and she took me off it and gave me oxycodone hcl 5mg and was wondering if there is a difference and if the norco was stronger or the oxycodone and I have heard that oxycodone was very addictive is this true ## Oxy's are a lol stronger and I would say there bolth as adicting. I have 15mg oxycodone made by Qualitest, been on them for months, and take as perscribed, but asfter some time they lost the effectivness. My Dr put me on Oxycodone 30mg made by Caraco Pharm, they are blue round tablet with 224 inprinted on the front. They are also about twice the diameter as the 15mgs which is weird cause I have a buddy who gets 30mgs but are the same diameter as the 15mg but thicker. Anyway my point being is I take the 30mg and they seem to be aboout as effective as the 15mg. Its as if I didnt go up in strenght at all.
