Anyone have any luck splitting prescriptions for 15 mg oxycodone instead of oxy 30? I go back to DR and hate even thinkin about the agony of a med change. Is anyone finding any reolutions for this....seems like this is going on all over the country? Maybe after 10 or 20 people die of abruptly stopping these meds, or commit suicide from dealing with chronic pain, somebody will step up and DO something!!! I live in Phoenix AZ. I have been on oxycodone 30mg #120 for the last 5yrs. I have double curve scoliosis,arthritis all in my back, 1 herniated disc and DDD, lupus and graves disease. 2 months ago my doctor told me he could not prescribe the 30mg's because the government said they are being diverted and sold and the money is being used to fund the terrorists. what is this..tiny pink round pill with a K 526 ....blank on the back ## Are you certain of the imprint? There is a small pink tablet with a K 56 on the front, separated by a score line, which contains 10mgs of Oxycodone, so it lacks the Acetaminophen that's in Perococet. I have read quite a few post here about walgreens and the shortages. There is no shortage. It is a lie. Yes, they are only aloud to order 4 bottles of 100 count per week. Here's something you may not know. Walgreens has a black list. If for some reason, you look like a addict or say something to piss off the pharmacist, you will make that list. Then, you can forget ever getting it filled at any walgreens pharmacy. They don't want the hassle nor want to deal with the DEA. I have seen someone make that list before. The pharmacist pulled out a card and wrote something down, later he entered it in the computer. Now, on a good note, I stayed with my same walgreen and same pharmacist and have never had a problem. In northern Ohio and I am prescribed oxycodone IR 20mg tablets. Cant seem to find pharmacy near me (lorain county, about 20mins from Cleveland,Ohio) that carries this Med. ## This is actually a problem that's been going on all over the U.S. recently, for all opiate/narcotic medications. I am not sure why, since there's been no official word on shortages or production problems, but there have been posts from people on each coast and everywhere in between. The only suggestion I can make, which has worked for a few other people, is to contact their insurance company and see if they have a preferred mail order pharmacy that you can use. If doctor has you on 10m.g. oxycodone 4 daily,and i have been taking 1/2 of 30's.will the difference in strength be noticed? ## There are tests that do check the levels of the medication, so if they are using one of those, then yes, the difference would be noticed, because your levels would be higher than they should be. I had got a oxycodone capsuel and it was blue and white and white powder inside and i need to know if these are real because they have no print on them. ## If there was no marking on it of any type, then it is very unlikely that it was Oxycodone, or any other prescription medication. I totally disagree. Whn I was younger I was an active heroin user & the whole 3-5 days 4 urine was correct but tests have changed these days itook a urine recently after 3 wks of takin 4 30mg roxys & it showed up!! I was clean off heroin 4 yrs but have been on suboxone. The Dr said it can pick up traces 4 awhile after takin pills or heroin/cocaine but obviously wouldn't tell me how long. I screwed up recently & took Roxys. I don't want to be kicked out of the suboxone program. Have u heard of it taking this long before?? ok, it's half dark blue and half white, it's a big capsuel and we opened it, to find brown/tan powder inside. with NO IMPRINTS. we've been getting mixed results saying it is either oxycodone, or a herbal/forgien pill but we're not sure. ## If there are no imprints, then it can be ruled out as being a U.S. manufactured Oxycodone or other prescription medication. All that are approved and available in the U.S. are required by law to have imprints to enable their identification in case of an emergency. I took a 40 mg oxycotin about 2 hours ago by mistake. My hubby didnt take his meds today and put it back in the wrong bottle. He put it in my bottle of flexeral muscle relaxer and boy did I know it about 30 minutes later. I didnt know what was wrong with me for a while until I talked to him and he told me he put the pill in the bottle in the front which is my meds. I take 6 15 mg oxycodone a day and 2 flexeril. Tomorrow I go in to get my meds refilled and a epidural and I am so worried it will show up in my UA. My doc here in Kansas sends off the ua and has it checked for levels to make sure folks are taking their medicine and I would never risk getting kicked from the clinic. I have been completely clean for over a month. I took 1 perk 30 on Friday at 1 p.m.. have drug screen Monday at 1 p.m.. is that enough time ## I assume you mean a 30mg Oxycodone tablet, since there are no Percocet tablets that have that much Oxycodone in them. However, either way, that is cutting it close and you may not pass the test, because Oxycodone is usually detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last dosing.
