I need to know how much acetomenaphine sp?) is in this capsule (or other similiar OTC).

Oxycodone tablets do not contain Acetaminophen. I think you are referring to Percocet, which contains both.

Is there any sort of imprint on your capsule? U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage.

This capsule is Oxycodone hcl 5 mg; color is either yellow & white capsule (could be orange & white) with imprint "lv" on yellow/orange part, and "901" on white part of capsule.It is a generic, and I cannot take any acetomenaphine, aspirin, tylenol, naproxen, anti-inflammatories, etc.I need to absolutely sure.Thanks.

Hi RLee,

I just researched the pill description you provided and can confirm that it contains 5mg of Oxycodone hydrochloride (and only that).

"Inactive" ingredients that make-up this specific yellow and white capsule include the following:
- silicon dioxide
- lactose
- magnesium stearate
- microcrystalline cellulose
- corn starch
- sodium lauryl sulfate
- sodium starch glycolate type A potato

Can the 5 mg capsule be insufflated? I usually take meds by mouth but I read that it is more fast acting this way. I've never seen oxycodone in capsules so I figured I would ask.

@curious - No I'd say don't do it, it is never "safe" to use a medication other than how it was prescribed.
