Oxycodone/endocet

I have been taking endocet 10/325 for yrs . Several my pharmacy has been out and given me oxycodone 10/325. I find I have to take 2 oxycodone a to 1 endocet . Why is that ? They say its the same I don't agree

So you were taking the name brand for years?

If so, then it does make sense that the generic may not work as well for you. There can be slight differences in the amount of the active ingredients, between the name brand and generics, so if you're used to the name brand and then receive a generic that might be slightly lower, it would only be normal to have such a problem.

For most people the differences are negligible and have no real effect, but this happens to people that take something for a very long time or for those who are sensitive to medications.

Endocet is actually the generic form of Percocet as is oxycodone w/acetaminophen.. I find myself having the opposite effect. I was taking the oxycodone w/acetaminophen for a year and switched pharmacies and they gave me Endocet. I felt myself needing 2 Endocet to 1 oxycodone w/acetaminophen.

Me to I am fine with one Oxycodone 10/325 Mallinckrodt . I can take two Endocet and still to me there is no comparison to the Oxycodone !
