Oxycodone And Naltrexone

please explain Naltrexone can have markedly different pharmacokinetics at ultra low doses which may include the attenuation of a pre-established opioid the prevention of tolerance from the oxycodone in the formulation, and the possible amplification of oxycodone

Think of it as wiping the slate clean. Thats what naltrexone does to the opiod receptors thereby "erasing" tolerance and making the receptors more sensitive again

I don't know if you may be looking for a second opinion on this, but I think the previous post does a good job of putting into perspective how Naltrexone works to prevent the tolerance of opioids.

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, a 100mg dose of Naltrexone is said to provide a 96% blockade by the time 24 hours have passed, an 86.5% blockade after 48hrs, and a 46.6% blockade at the 72hr mark.
