Oxycodone Tampa Fl

which pharmacies have oxycodone 15mg 11/01/12 in tampa area? i switched from 30 mg to 15mg thinking it would be easier. both my husband and i were in a major head on collision. we have been looking over a week and nothing, nobody has them. we both have ddd. husband is a stroke patient and i have ms also besides all the accident injuries that are pretty severe. now everyone is telling me the end of next week. we cant make it that long! they are making it so you HAVE to go buy it on the streets, which i will NOT do. why do the drug dealers have them but people with real pain and drs cant get them filled? i have insurance too. i dont understand what the problem is? what to do? where to go? there is NO reason for this.

Have you tried contacting your insurance provider to see if they have a preferred mail order pharmacy that you can use?

That has enabled several people to get their prescriptions filled, when they couldn't find them in local pharmacies.

There are almost always shortages this time of year, due to the mandatory manufacturing limits.

I have degenerative spine disease, very painful, treated with epidural Spine injections at Fl. Spine center for 4 years. On Dec. 15,2014 my Dr. ordered hydrocodone 10/325 however I can't get it filled at any pharmacies. They all say they are out of stock and that manufacture has not been able to make needed deliveries. I can't drive but my adult son has been trying everyday to get my script. filled. I have periodically called to see if med is available and always get same answer.(not in stock) My main local pharm. is CVS are 33771. My son goes to the 24 hr. pharms, target, walgreens, publix, winndixie walmart, all CVS in largo and clw. and even some Tampa pharms. What should I do. What is actually going on with unavailability of this med.? Is there another equally useful med to replace hydrocodone?

Manufacturers are given a quota each year. They have a certain amount of active ingredients they can use in a year. When it is gone, they can't manufacturer any more of the med until the first of the year. Then it takes time for orders to be processed, shipped, delivered and processed at your local pharmacy. With this being a Schedule II now, the security requirements are also stricter. You should be able to get your rx filled by the end of Jan or sometime in Feb.
