Oxycodone 15 Mg By Actavis

Hmmm...My experience is just the Opposite!! I been getting Oxycodone 15 mg that was manufactured by both Watson And Malencroft!! I take 1 every 4 hours and I tell you, the last few times of getting them via these two manufacturers was like taking aspirin...Absolutely little to No effect. Plus I found myself wanting to take More than prescribed because I work a very physical job (and love it). I am not one of those people that feel they just need to stay home, feel high on their pain meds, and not e gen Try to do better. Not at all saying who is and is not doing that. But just saying that I am Not one of them.

Anyway, However, this was the first time I got my Oxies filled and the mfg is Actavis. And I was not even looking at the mfg. But what happened is I took one of my oxy 15's and few minutes later I felt very woozy...But in a good way.

I tell you, 5 hours later and I was Still feeling no pain. And I still felt the effects of the One oxy I took. 6 and 7 hours later I was still pain free. For the first time in several years, I managed to wake up the next morning and had 2 oxies left over from the previous day. I LOVE it. And I have been totally pain free the past 3 days since I began taking the oxy 15's manufactured by Actavis!!!

So I am not sure about these other guys or why theirs is not working...But mine are sure working for me...And working so well that I might just have to cut them in half!!! Thanks for reading.

Wow! That's a switch, but I am so very glad that they're working so well for you. How long have you been taking this medication?

The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hi! There is a new 2015 generic OxyContin that I am being forced to take because of my insurance. I will get them on Thursday and very nervous about it! Has anyone tied them?

Are you seeing anyone in Las Vegas? I need to find a PMD in Vegas as the pharmacies will not fill opioid from the internest I have been seeing for years. I have looked a reviews on a number of PMDs in Las Vegas, and always run into comments that if you are looking for meds, go elsewhere, but no one says where - NEED THE NAME OF A DOC WHO WILL write Rx for pain meds in Las Vegas or surrounding areas. My problems have existed for some time, and multiple surgeons have told me surgery is not an option. Over years doses got to a point where last PMD consulted talked ONLY about detox. He didn't ask level of pain and did no tests in office - am on 60 mg morphine sulfate 3x p/day and 10 mg Oxys (for percocet) 4x per day. I need a doctor locally who has no problem understanding the grinding debilitating nature of back & neck pain and who will write Rxs as I need. Have never abused or engaged in drug seeking behavior, ANYONE WITH A NAME PLEASE RESPOND - and thanks !

Can you please update as to your post on this medication? The thread is about 15mg. OXYCODONE instant release & your saying Oxycotin so I'm a Lil confused as well as interested in this so called new one you speak of, no new anything I know of and I'm a pharmacy technician & I also suffer from from very bad degenerative discs as well as other issues I won't get into but I'm always out to learn and or try something new, I don't wish to take anything stronger than this 15mg @ 4 prn. Thanks and best of wishes to you & I hope your getting relief, I have not had actavis brand in some time but I recently got them & was shocked to see them & I'm staying positive & not thinking bad, as I have a whole month so I'm praying their quality has got much better, currently I'm laying down on my heating pad & I can say they are working but I got a slight headache & I just took two 350mg Tylenol & I hope this helps, likely just the change from last few months & adjusting to a new formula. I want to say I've tried most all brands of the 15 mg., & the best to help me were by no doubt the generics made by Core Pharmacuticals, we all have different opinions & all react different to inert ingrediants, ie: fillers & binders. I have to say the worst & worst for you are by far the Rhodes brand, they are huge & filled w/ many fillers two of which the FDA has taken out of lots of products both OTC & Rx written meds & supplements. Anyways, I'm sure I'm not alone to hear back from you on this NEW Oxycodone/cotin product, new means its not a generic so I'm at shock I know nothing of this medication as we have many customers at my work ego take this medication & to all you smart asses out there, no I don't get any free meds being I work at a pharmacy, I have to go monthly just like everyone else, I will say I have an amazing doctor & she is very smart & very much into alternatives & exercise to the best you can & eating right & of course not drinking while taking this medication, I don't drink anyways so I'm good there. My original question, which was posted so long ago, was regarding the new generic OxyContin 40mgs (not 15mg)? What exactly is the difference between brand and generic ??? In any case, due to my Insurance, I was forced to buy the new generic (mine was Par pharmaceuticals)! They weren't any stronger than an aspirin!!! They were useless! I am now paying a huge amount of money for Purdue, which are Brand! What are the pharmaceutical companies doing with the formulations? It's fraud! :(. They really must feel the public are morons; not noticing that they don't work as painkillers!? All the while my pharmacist laughs at me and tells me that brand and generic all work the same! I'm so fed up with the pharmacist when she laughs at me, and tells me that brand and generic work the same and it's all in my head!!! I don't think I would pay an extra $200 a month if I wasn't perfectly sure that they are not the same! pharmaceutical companies are ripping us off big time, and it stands to reason that a bottle worth $250 versus a bottle worth eight dollars has very, very different formulas! What a horrible joke on the public who are suffering because they can't afford brand!!! :(

I wish a few hundred signatures could really do something to take a Billion dollar company like Actavis & make them live up to it's rules (DO YOU THANK A LIL SLAP ON THE WRIST OF A FINE FOR A FEW MILLION DOLLARS IS GOING TO HURT THESE GUYS???), but the truth is at one point they were indeed the best generic Oxycodones on the market, which made them the number one company to be messed with due to their appearance on the black market.

I'm only getting this info from many news letters, of stories & word of mouth from my pharmacist as we have been close friends for many years, & he knows what is going on in the underground market, he has to, it's his job. I want to tell the good folks on here that I HATE having to take any pills more less the pieces of s***, but I have been in a severe accident that should have killed me, all my doctors actually want me to be on much stronger meds, but I refuse to accept them, it's hard enough to have to live w/ my condition & have to take these freaking pills, but I take the ones from Core Pharmacuticals & they are the only brand I will say are the exact same or as close as we will ever get to the old formula. I've been in many accidents & I remember when Actavis made a very good IR oxycodone. You all seem to be aware that Watson was bought out by Actavis but did you know that when this buyout happened, that Actavis moved its headquarters to Ireland to avoid having to pay US taxes, yep you heard me right that's what happened & when you think of this action it should help you to understand why & how a company like this would cut corners & try to maximize their profits even at the extent of the very same people that got them this rich. I'm very tired here folks & having wrote this on my iPad you can see where that would be the case. I hope everyone learned something here from my message/post I've left you to get you all to see the big picture. If anyone deserves a kick back it's me, but surely Actavis likely doesn't feel that way, let them walk just one day in my shoes & I bet they change the formula real quick. To you all I wish you the best & just one more day w/ a pain level of a constant 10 to be lowered down so I can get my work done & have some time to spend w/ my friends & family, even if I'm biting on my lip. If you are taking Oxycodone 15mg Instant Release pills, please Beware of the light Blueish-Green colored ones. I got them at CVS and Aurora pharmacies a few times. Believe me, if they are anything at all, they are very weak in strength. I would even go so far as to call them a Placebo!

The ones, however, that Walgreens provide are a smaller, darker Green color. These are the real deal and they are very strong, high-quality Oxies!! Taking one of these is like taking 2 or 3 of the larger Blueish-Green ones.

At least this is how I feel about it. But I don't place the blame here on the pharmacies or pharmacists...I place blame on the crooks that are packaging these fake ass pain meds and labeling them as being real Oxycodone 15mg pills.

If your pharmacy is giving out these fake oxies called placebos, tell your doctor about it. Your doctor can most likely change your prescription to the Brand name Oxies, which I believe is Roxicodone. And your insurance will cover them most likely, esp with your reporting the ones you are getting as fakes. Thanks for reading!!

Activis brand is by far the best generic oxycodone IR 15mg available as of September 2016. I have taken oxycodone since 2001 and there is absolutely no other brand that comes close. Medication contains 14.97 active oxycodone.

Purdue offers a patient assistant program. If you have no insurance, Purdue will send the medication directly to your pain management doctor for free, and he will dispense them to you. Don't know if they will dispense to any other doctor or not. They also have a discount card, that is available at all respected pain management doctors offices if you have some kind of script insurance but can't afford the co-pay. It keeps the cost down to 40.00 You can also call Purdue direct and ask for patient assistance to get more information. These are not generic. However, these are no longer the big white ones they used to manufacture. Too many people were abusing them. But if you are seriously looking for pain relief, these new ones called OP's work just fine. They just have a coating on them that makes it impossible for addicts to abuse them. Hope this helps you.

Activas is the best manufacturer of oxycodone......actually they manufacture oxycodone the way it is supposed to be as that it is suppose to last 4 to 6 hours and concentrate on pain not the high.
Will never take any other brand.

Yeah, I get scripts for 30mg oxycodone. And the company who makes them is actavis. These tablets are the best out there. They work awesome for any severe chronic pain symptom. The people who complain saying they do not work, are the people who take handfuls of these pills to feel high. And their bodies have built up a high tolerance to the medication. The pills are getting rid of their pain, but they are not feeling high anymore because of a high tolerance from abusing the medication. That's why they are complaining. Trust me, the company actavis makes a high quality pain medication. And I am sure that all the other medications they make are nothing but the best quality meds you can get. So do not listen to these people who complain about actavis medication. Most of them are just pain pills seekers looking for a high. 70% of these people actually do not even have severe or chronic pain symptoms. They go to doctors complaining that their back or legs hurt in the hope that the doctor will prescribe them pain meds.

If somebody goes to the doctor complaining about back pain, before that doctor even thinks about prescribing any pain meds to that person, the doctor should do his/her best to make sure that it's a legit problem causing them pain. I need about 3 surgeries on my back and neck and have ripped nerves in my legs and also spinal disease. I have seen at least 4 of the best neuro surgeons who specialize in back and neck surgery. But my back and nerve issues are so severe that all of them said the same thing. It is to risky on are end to even think about doing any type of surgery. So we suggest that what your doctor gives you every month for pain that you stay with it. I had a lot of mri's and diagnostics done on my back and neck and nerves. So my doctor knows I have legit reasons to be on this medication. And I even signed a pain management form for my doctor. I only get my pain meds from her. Unlike these pill seekers faking they are in pain, going to doctor after doctor trying to score some pain meds so they can try to feel high (pitiful if you ask me). Well that's all I have to say. And again, trust me. The company actavis does make nice high quality pain and health medication.

What manufacturer do CVS pharmacies use for roxicodone (oxycodone) 15mg? I've been having problems with the Actavis brand of 15mg oxycodone! They must have more fillers because they do not seem to work as they should!! Also, since taking it, I've been having headaches everyday and my blood pressure has skyrocketed!!! Any advice?
