Many pharmacists consider most or all of the drug to be out your system in the period of about 5 half-lives. In relation to this drug, that would mean Oxaliplatin takes roughly 2 hours to leave your system. Xeloda (Capecitabine) is largely eliminated as metabolites (> 95% of the dose). The terminal half-life of the parent drug and its metabolites is short (less than 1 hour), and excretion proceeds via the urine.
