Opana Er 10mg

I take Opana 20mg twice a day, just had a urine test & came up negative! Also take Opana IR 10 mg 4 times a day for breakthrough pain. WHY DID MY URINE COME UP NEGATIVE!!! Now my doctor is taking off my meds will not refill my script..WTF!!!

Have you changed anything in your diet, your fluid intake, or activity levels? Those can all have an effect on it.

There is really no way that anyone here can give you a definitive answer. While narcotics are usually detectable in urine for 4 to 5 days after last dosing, it can vary from person to person.

I have several friends that are on ms contins and they too show negative tests. However once it comes back from the big lab it shows positive. I dont know how that happens like that but it does.

After 10 years with the same pm dr, a new dr saw me one day and said I had to take a "mandatory random drug test " like I was a criminal. I told the assistant to get the real dr. I went OFF on the new dr and told him, in no uncertain terms to "SHUT UP!!!".
So I came in a month later with a 2 in stack of papers printed from the Internet that those drug test are worthless. Did you know that if you eat a poppyseed bagel, morphine will show up in a urine test 2 hours later. However I did learn how severe the problem is. 11 pm dr shot to death in tri state area from people going to office to steal meds.
But I was so insulted. I'm always lowering my dose so the pills will work when needed. And there really is a
Better way to say "mandatory random drug test ", like insurance companies are requiring we do something new, we have to take a urine test once in a while, it's no big deal, it's nothing against you, it's just something we have to do to keep our license. Now that I would have understood and not reacted so angry about it.
Needless to say, that dr has since been fired. I said he would not last 6 months. I was right.

I too had the same issues with painmd.com / paincare, I was told I failed a urine test and was kicked out of the practice without the ability to question the results. After getting the urine results it was found by a secondary doctor that I failed the test because I had poppy seed cake that same morning. The US military and other reputable doctors understand this and have set the cut-off or zero amount at 3000mgl so that even if you do have 2 or three poppy seed bagels that same day you will not fail the test.

Do not use painmd.com, its nothing but a pain mill that does not secure its patients information.

WTF YES!!! I'm mad and scared!!

I'M on Opana 30mg for severe arthritis in my hips!! Been taking every 10-12 hrs.,.SINCE Janurary of 2013 til' present day, March the 26th!!
I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH, WHAT FEELS LIKE, A LINGERING DRUG WITHDRAWAL!!
Today, my doctor informs me that my DRUG SCREENS have come up NEGATIVE, since I've been on the Opana 30mg.
I was in such a state of shock, when he told me this, that I couldn't even give a urine specimen, in order to get the Methadone he changed me over to. You have to supply urine before they release your prescription......
I was taking oxycodone 30mg, prescribed by my previous doctor that referred me to Pain Mangement. Oxycodone 30mg, IT SHOWED UP, on my first visit's drug screen!! NOT A THING SHOWS UP IN MY URINE AFTER THAT FIRST VISIT!!

I've been doing some research since I came home today, because I was just crushed, after all that and needed answers!!
INCLUDING YOURSELF, I've read a few posts that were stating that Opana WASN'T SHOWING in their urine EITHER!!
I'VE ALWAYS, ALWAYS LIVED WELL!! Why do I need to be treated like a criminal!! Why does anyone doing the right thing have to be treated so?

The replacement drug that I WAS UNABLE TO GET SCRIPT FOR, due to my shock and inability to urinate, was Methadone, which I stated earlier. I don't care for Methadone because my Mom accidentily overdosed 4 yrs. ago. She had severe pain that caused sleep deprivation and WE THINK, she FORGOT she took a dose or 2 and UNKNOWINGLY REDOSED. Methadone WILL ALSO CAUSE, SLIGHT AMNESIA. It's usually little things the patient may or may not notice...HOWEVER, this DANGEROUS SIDE AFFECT, COULD POSSIBLY, cause you to forget how many pills you've had or dosing schedule!!

I NOT ONLY want an answer for (WHY???) ths is happening to people, (OPANA NOT SHOWING IN URINE)....but, How long, WILL IT TAKE, for these doctors, TO FIGURE OUT, WE ARE NOT DEALING THIS OPANA!! It must be the drug itself!! I think I MAYBE received SCANT AMOUNTS in my system...ENOUGH to keep me in this lingering withdrawal over the past few months, with LITTLE PAIN RELIEF! I ALSO can't understand, WHY he waited to tell me of all these NEGATIVE TESTS, TIL' TODAY!!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, what else can I take that WILL SHOW in my urine...Is there another form of Opana that would ACTUALLY SHOW UP?? I'm thinking of calling the office and requesting a blood test..

IF you find another pain doctor, let him know you want to request a blood test, in leu of urine tests, IN ADVANCE, because you're Opana didn't show in your urine, WHICH CAUSED YOU TO BE DISCHARGED from last physician!! That way you both have a heads up, IF this happens again!!

WE NEED TO TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE TO CHANGE THINGS ABOUT OPANA, RIGHT NOW, WE'RE LIKE TEST RATS FOR THIS NEW FORMULA....who are being accused of dealing, due to negative urine screens!!
Ideas????? A petition???? The clocks ticking away....MORE PEOPLE WHO DON'T DESERVE THIS, ARE SUFFERING BADLY... IF you live right, a blow to your character not only hurts your feelings, but these people have done NOTHING wrong!! These people have REAL PAIN PHYSICALLY!! They shouldn't have shame ALONG WITH, their character in question too!! THEY HAVE NOTHING TO BE SHAMEFUL OF!!

I want EVERYONE, who reads this, who knows a story OR can idenify THEMSELVES, or WHO KNOW, OTHERS, who ARE POSSIBLY suffering, because their bodies AREN'T CORRECTLY METABOLIZING, this new Opana formula...to leave a post...
LET'S PUT OUR HEADS TOGETHER HERE!

We really need to work together from the internet to get the word out, so this drug may be tested more thoroughly!! OPANA, should be under the microscope....NOT US...NOT TODAY, NOT EVER AGAIN!!
