My doctor diagnosed me with osteoartitis this week. He prescribed Treipiline 10mg, one tablet at night time, as well as Neurontin 100mg. According to what I am reading on the internet it is depression and epilepsy medication. Will it give me pain relieve at all?

Yes, the Tripiline contains Amitriptyline, which is a tricyclic antidepressant and Neurontin is an antiseizure medication, but they have both also been proven effective at helping with certain types of nerve pain.
