Nucynta With Fentanyl
UpdatedI am using Fentanyl 25mg patch for chronic back pain. Is it ok to use nucynta ER 50mg for breakthrough pain?

Has your doctor prescribed them both?
It is unusual to prescribe 2 time released medications, together. That's not usually the way breakthrough pain is handled, usually there is one time released medication and one instant release, or regular release medication, because they help with pain much faster than a time released medication.
