Need help! I been on six,6 Norco a day and he has brought it down to 2.5 a day. I have talked to my doctor about the amount of pills he makes out my prescription for. He won't increase the amount but he will give me something stronger but I don't like them. I want to stick with what works for me. Can you tell me of any doctor that will help me in Tulare, Visalia area? . ## Unfortunately, due to the risk of Acetaminophen overdose from taking too many Norco, you're really not going to find a doctor that is willing to prescribe that many. They have to be very cautious, because since it's available over the counter, many people don't realize that taking too much Acetaminophen can be very dangerous, or fatal. You can learn more Acetaminophen Overdose Information here. Wha...

I'm taking Norco 10/325 & soma 350mg twice a day. They no longer work. I have cronic lymes disease 5 year's now. Pain & fatigue migraines & a whole bunch of symptoms. I need something stronger. I'm exhausted &can't work after 30 years in banking, I'm can't work anymore. What do you recommend for pain medication. I've done every thing thèy gave me to cure lymes nothing worked. I'm done. Just treat the pain. Help me! ## Percocet is slightly stronger. Fentanyl is a long term pain med without the highs and lows experienced with breakthrough drugs like Norco. Migraine meds, non narcotiv nerve meds like gabepentin, muscle relaxers like Valium, lots of choices! ## What M3sue has posted is correct, there are plenty of other options available....

Hi everyone. I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneration of discs in my lower back. I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. I need a doctor willing to prescribe any narcotic and prescribes what works for me. Cash only "wellness" clinics are ok for the time being. Informing me of a pain doctor in Fort Worth Dallas Austin Houston or San Antonio is fine. Thanks in advance. ## Were you able to find any specialists to help you with your medication needs? If so, can you please share who? I have a long list of chronic...

My Dr switched me from Norco 10/325 to 1/2 15 mg ir Morphine Sulfate... So basically 7.5. Am I going to go thru Norco withdrawal? Is 7.5 higher than Norco 10? I so do not want to be in more pain. She started me at 7.5 to see how I tolerate it. Thanks. ## Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, Morphine and Hydrocodone generally convert on a 1 to 1 basis, so 10mgs of one equals 10mgs of another. She has started you lower to see how you do on the Morphine, and you may find that it works better for you than the Norco. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Ref: Morphine Information How has worked for you, so far? Are you on any other medications?

Many other people are telling me that ip 110 which is another generic form of hydrocodone 10/325, does not work for them nearly as well as watson 853, which is a better generic of the same thing - hydrocodone 10/325. Obviously, pharmacies are buying ip 110 cause they are cheaper. What else is known out there, and in other people's experience, is it the same? I would like to know? ## Hello, Dr. Moki! How are you? I've actually taken both of them, at different times when it was prescribed and found them both to work well for me. Just like any other medication, it can vary from person to person. The additional thing you have to remember is that most people don't post or talk about a medication, unless they've had a problem with it, there is a much larger number of people th...

cant find any pharmacies in 32097 who have norco 10/325. do you no where to get it? ## Having the same problem. It's the whole state not just Jacksonville. They're saying it will hopefully not be an issue starting November. Who knows. I'm having to go days without my medication because of this. I just pray it comes in ASAP. ## Hello i wanted to know if you had any luck. My mother has bone disease and she really need her norco 10s. Thank you ## I'd actually advise everyone to not get their hopes up for November, either. From what's been said, it seems the shortage started due to relabeling, since this medication was changed to a schedule 2 at the beginning of this month, but we are also into the time of year where there is almost always a shortage of most controlled s...

I have a white pill with 7.5 on one side & 357 on the other and the pill is not helping my pain. Is this a placebo for Norco 7.5/325? ## There's a white oblong pill with "n 357 7.5", that's reportedly identified as generic Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5mg). For verification, it's made by a company called Novel Laboratories, Inc. and carries a National Drug Code of 40032-0357. You didn't state that there was an "n" on your pill, so I can only assume that it's counterfeit if you didn't get it filled at a licensed pharmacy. What shape is your pill? ## It is a short little fat white oblonge pill has 7.5 on one side the other side it has n then a line clear down the middle of the pill then 357 on other half ## This new N 357 pi...

What pill is this? It is a big oblong shaped pill that says i7 on it. I just would like to know what these are? My friend told me they were norcos. ## This tablet is manufactured by Granules India Limited and they list it as containing 600mgs of Ibuprofen (NDC 62207-355). Im 78 with a lot of pain in legs groin thighs. Can,t walk. have arthritis in both hips, osteoporosis, and don,t know what to do. I have tried every otc med there is. Doctor gave me every pres. med there is, even shots. nothing works. He gave me a prescription for 5/325 Norco and it helped a little. won,t give me anymore. I live in northwest in. Is there any Help out there from someone.? TY ## Hello, grandma! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about what you're dealing with. At this point, I think your best bet would be to consult a different doctor, perhaps a pain management specialist, they are usually more knowledgeable about what will help with pain, and aren't as reticent about prescribing medications to help. Norco contains the active ingredients Hydrocodone and Acetam...

I have been on norco 10/325 for about a year n a half ( started on 5/500 vicodin before that) I take 4 a day like clock work 8am,noon 4:30 then if needed at 9 pm. Recently my dr moved out of state, I have appt with new dr pm 21st of this month. Anyhow I weaned down for a week and now I have been w/ O for 3 days the only real effect I'm having is I sweat especially in early mornings. How long will this last??I'm wondering if I should continue to take em. I have 2 herniated discs and that dergenative disc disease to the point I have lost almost 3in in height in 4 years. (I'm 37) won't opperate say it will do more harm than good. Very frustrating any suggestions would be appreciated ## How are you pain levels when taking the Norco regularly compared to when not taking it? I...

i heard that norco had less tylonal and asprin than in vicodan ## Norco - 5/325 - has: hydrocodone 5 mg. and acetaminophen 325 mg. Norco - has 10 mg hydrocodone, and 325 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin ES - 7.5 mg. hydrocodone and 750 mg acetaminophen. ## Neither Norco, nor Vicodin have Aspirin in them. They have acetaminophen (APAP). ## Correct; neither have aspirin. Vicodin is probably the worst hydrocodone-containing compound available. The absolute lowest amount of liver-destroying paracetamol (acetaminophen in the USA) in any 'Vicodin' product is 500mg. What is generally referred to as 'Norco' (Watson) is 10mg/325mg. However, in personal eperience of this rather weak narcotic analgesic which is also completely overprice...

Hello, I have been on Norco 10/325 for several years and Watson then Quailtest always worked great. I go to a small pharmacy and they can no longer order Quailtest. They had Tris till this year and I liked Tris also. They will let me pick from whatever they have and that is Amneal, Mallinckrodt, or Camber. The Camber made me sick. So what would you choose between Amneal and Mallinckrodt? I know the reviews aren't great for either on here, but do you prefer 1 over the other? They told me they could also order other generics if I let them know. Thanks for any suggestions. ## When I had to have my dental work done, I had good results with the product from both of those manufacturers, but to me, it did seem that the Mallinckrodt worked a little faster. I have both chronic and acute headaches. I've taken everything. The only relief I ever get is through narcotics. No one will prescribe them so I've spent the last 10 years in bed, in the dark. I would really like to die because the pain is so bad. When it gets bad I'll go to the ER but they won't even help me. I also have a problem with my body making kidney stones. Please help. ## Hello, Rocky! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require narcotics on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. A PCP won't be able to prescribe them for you. Thus, you'll likely need to see a neurologist and a urologist. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to other doctors? If so, that would be the best w...

I recently became very dependent on Norco for my chronic back pain. I'm withdrawing now so I can go see a pain specialist (finally!) I want to make sure u can get on (if per dr request) meds that won't take me down this road again. Withdrawal is hard as hell. However it important to note I have been rx'ed Methocarbamol and Flexeril, which I both cant take bc they don't do anything but knock me out... I'm sure the Dr will answer these for me soon depending in the diagnosis but just wanted some feedback re: other pain meds (no over counter, those are like candy pills for my pain). ## Dependence can happen with anything that you take on a regular basis for a long period of time and some withdrawal effects will occur, if you stop taking it abruptly. Some, of course, are ...

Is anyone else having problems finding a pharmacy to fill their scripts of Norco? I have been taking them for a few years now for my chronic pain. I always go to the same pharmacy chain, and its always the same doctor who writes my scripts, but since the new law change no one seems to have them in stock. Some pharmacists told me it was a manufacturer back order. We are told not to go without our meds, but yet how is that possible if we can't get them? Anyone knows of a pharmacy that has Norco 10/325 in the metro Detroit area? ## Dear Painfully Annoyed, Yes, this appears to be a huge problem at the moment. I have called every pharmacy in my insurance plan and everyone says the same thing. Your not alone, I was told it is a repackaging issue with the manufacturers due to the new laws....

Does anyone know of a good PCP in the Columbus Ohio area willing to prescribe Norcos for pain of the middle to lower back? Please let me know as I am in a bit of pain and just moved to the area. Thanks. ## Hi James, I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in locating pain management doctors within your general area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider...

Do they make a smurf blue norco that looks just like the yellow 10s with a v on one side? ## Hi Ben, I just did some research on this and wonder if you may be thinking of the imprint "V 35 97"?, which is an oval blue generic norco 10mg/650mg tablet. I don't believe they are being manufactured any longer due to the new laws restricting the amount of acetaminophen to 325mgs. But, if you want to look this pill up for verification, it also carries a National Drug Code of 00603-3885. I hope this helps! ## Is this what you are talking about? I am prescribed Norco M367 and my sister have Norco M365, which one is the stronger?? ## Hello, Atawaa! How are you? Both of these tablets are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list the one marked M 367 as containing 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0367), and the one marked M 365 as containing 5 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0365). Thus, M367 is the stronger dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would also like to know that answer, which is stronger the pill marked m365 or m367? ## 367 are 10 mg per narcotic and 356 is only 5 mg per narco...
