Norco 20mg

I have recently been diag. w\Peripheral Neuropathy. Gabapentin makes me drunk and the efficacy wore off after 3to4 nights. 600mg to 1200mg for relief made me drunk & stupid;1800mg, forget it. But for me That's what it took to get maybe 6hr sleep.Maybe good for some;not me. Alternatives anyone? Thanks j

I need some feedback. I live in Florida and I have a cage in my back for my L1 verabra, 4 screws in my foot, and just have 2 anchors placed in my shoulder for a 75% tear. I have tried to get some pain medication and I'm given tramadole. Waste of a script. It seems like people (Dr) feel like all people are drug seekers and not in chronic pain. How and who should I seek out for help and when I find this person, how do I get more than tramadole for pain???? Please advise.

If you go in asking for any specific medication, or even just some type of opiate, they will often think that you are drug seeking. Thus, it is best to not ask for any specific medication, but to let your medical records speak for you.

The FDA warns that opiates carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
