the doc at st. paul's hospital in Hong Kong prescribed me nidol tablet for throat inflammation (+ fever) 4 days ago. oh my god, i got more sersious after taking the pills 2 days though my fever was gone due to other tablets he gave me. my throat was getting sore and sore (more serious and intensive), so I stopped it and went to see another private doctor. dr. cheng. she told me nidol tablets were collected by drug company!!! oh , my god. no wonder, i was getting worse not to mention 'curing' my sore. so i went to check it out in your website and found that ...oh my god. it is right. i got the side effects mentioned in your page - stomach upset, dizzy etc. i want to sue st. paul's hospital ,dr. tse kai chung, for his professional misconduct and negligence. should I ? please kindly update me with the most updated info about this drug. thanks a lot.
And because of the illness, I could not on holiday!!! i am very angry!!!

Nidol has been well proven to be an effective pain killer of the Cox2 variety. Side effect is minimal with short term treatment, like for a week. It is unfortunate that you developed some undesirable side effect (which is rare) I am a physician that deals with pain everyday, and I can assure that your doctor did not commit any error, and there is no ground to sue for misconduct. Hope you are getting better.
