Newcita Plus contains the active ingredient Escitalopram.

Side effects of Escitalopram can include:
nausea
diarrhea
constipation
changes in sex drive or ability
drowsiness
increased sweating
dizziness
heartburn
stomach pain
excessive tiredness
dry mouth
increased appetite
flu-like symptoms
runny nose
sneezing

More serious side effects of this drug can include:

-unusual excitement
-seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist (hallucinating)
-fever, sweating, confusion, fast or irregular heartbeat, and severe muscle stiffness

You can read more about this drug and additional side effect info by visiting the link below:

I would definitely consider switching medications or trying some natural alternatives if the side effects become too severe or bothersome.

Yes, Newcita 10, Newcita Plus and Newcita 20 are the prescribed medicines for depression treatment based on the patient situation, Dr. decides which dose/Tab needs to be taken, I have started with Newcita10 then 20 and then Plus.

I am just starting Newcita 20. Before i was taking the regular Escitalopram pills which were white and had the numbers 5852 and a logo on it. These are yellow with no logo or numbers or any sort of marks which kindof frightens me. Is it the same medication? I was told that it may have less of the active ingredient and higher side effects. Could this be the case? I am somewhat nervous of taking this medication which i got through a canadian pharmacy, whereas i would normally go through my regular pharmacy but can not afford it without insurance. Can you please give me as much information as possible between the Newcita yellow pills that i got through a canadian pharmacy that i am now taking and the regular white ones with the logo and the numbers that i got through my old pharmacy.

this symptom looks more like a hyper tension....tell him to stay calm, avoid unncessary thoughts, meditation will help...no medicine can be helpful in hyper tension, just temp. relief..
