Need A Pharmacy To Fill Oxycodone Rx In Jax Fl Or Surrounding Areas (Page 2)

HELP!!! I need to find a pharmacy that can fill my oxycodone RX, Is there anywhere in Jax FL? Anywhere in FL or surrounding areas?

Hi I really need help!, I am 27, have suffered from fibromyalgia for 13 yrs, an ovarian cysts 1 is now about the size of a baseball the dr said from the sonogram, & in Jan a car crash tat gave me 3 bulging discs in my lower lumbar, all 3 play off each other, cause each other to flare up, after several mths on way to much percocet to be safe on the liver ( 4-6 pills a day, 10/325 & that was just makeing life bareable, a good day has been a 6 on the pain scale, most days are 7's , while medicated), I finally found a pain managment dr that I trust, who actually gave me an exam didn't just sit at the desk & yap, talked to me, asked the kinds of questions you should ask a patient. He gave me 2 RX's, one for 90, 30 mg roxycodone, & for breakthrough 15mg, 60 pills. I am/ was so greatful, then I tried to fill the RX's, & I think in the end I went to or called every pharmacy in the yellowpages in the area , ONE had them & they told me that since I wasn't a regular customer that they wouldn't fill t as there is a shortage they will only give it to their regulars!

I can't get out of bed by myself, I can't work even my part-time waitress job, wich since my boss, who I didn't know had such an aversion to ANY meds found out I was on meds has decided I'm a junkie & doesn't want me takeing them @ work & is constantly watching me & any little mistake is blamed on them, well I think he will fire me if I have to call out when I'm supposed to work later this week, even if I lie & say it's something else, I think he has been looking for a reason, & I'm an independant contractor so he really can fire me for anything.

I have another day or so worth of percocets, but after that i'm screwed completly. Please help! I can't afford to loose my few shifts, & I am in litterrally imobalizing pain when not medicated. I know some people takeing the meds are scared to let this info out maybe, I know you guys need your meds to, I will seriously happily just fill the smaller of the 2 rx's & trey the bigger one with an online pharmacy ( would do them both that way I'm just scared, what if they get lost in the mail ?, (the online pharmacies want u to mail these types of narcotics RX's in) what if they have plenty today but they get alot of RX's in the mail Monday morning B4 I send it out & they don't get any in for several weeks? then I can't keep trying pharmacies even. I will drive, within reason, & by reason I know it sounds nutty but pretty much anywhere in the state of Florida & anywhere in states close by. My Dr, when I contacted him suggested that I try a few surrounding area's & just talk with my regular pharmacy & have them contact a pharmacy in another area & explaine they are out of my meds & that I am a regular at the pharmacy in the computer & all & that I shouldn't have any trouble filling it out of area so long as they have the RX in stock, a lady in line opverheard us & she told me she had, had to do this last mth & that they hadn't given her any trouble & she went out of state. So I am willing to drive & i'm willing to only fill the smaller Rx & not try to take to many of thesupply away from the state, I don't want others in pain because of me, Iso long as I have some meds I can make them stretch.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me, let me know where to go I have just started following internet posts I catch on google & calling random pharmacies around the state, but thats like a needle in a haystack. If you don't want to put it on the board, you can email me, I know I'm a stranger & you have no need to take the time out of your day to help a stranger, but really you don't even have to say hi in the email, just the pharmacy name, city & state, & zip if u know it, if not I'll do the google searching, just help! please.

Hi. I'm looking for a chain pharmacy in South Florida ... There are a couple of Mom & Pop stores, but they're really expensive. I have a script for 84 15mg oxycodone, but nowhere to fill them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

it is a lie..u do not need 2 live in county 2 fill...ask 2 speak directly 2 pharmacist...explain situation 1st never have oxy script on top...ask when they will have..walgreens is the biggest liers...i no longer go pham 2 pham i just make a trip out of state...

Oxycodone always goes on manufacturer backorders from time to time. Its the same routine. It will be on the shelves for months, then it will be off the shelves for months. The term "backorder" is used to describe this problem. It refers to the production companies experiencing "delays in production" which could unfortunately mean a number of things. It could mean there is a shortage of raw materials or that the companies simply do not make enough to meet the demand. Its a drain to search for because I can tell you from working in a pharmacy that no one will tell you if its in stock or not. CII's are highly regulated and unfortunately are the cause of many pharmacies getting robbed. "I unfortunately can't divulge that information over the phone" is what you will hear if you ask a pharmacist if they have it in stock. We personally have been ordering it on a daily basis for about three months now and haven't seen it once, nor do we have an guaranteed date as to when it will arrive. Best of luck to you.

Hello, I have been going through this same routine for seceral years now, and had notebooks and notebooks (like 10-25 notebooks) full of numbers and notes on what they said. I have good news for those of you who need help in Mainly the Jaxsonville area!! I also have names & numbers for other counties/cities in FL as well.

One foundation I know of, The American Pain Foundation, is a good place to start. (painfoundation.org). Find your leader for the American Pain Foundation by going to the the website, click get involved. A drop down list appear, click leaders. This will take you to a map of the country and click on your state. Your leaders email address will be shown.

For Floridians, the Leader in Lithia/Tampa area is handling this situation. Email her and she will fill you in on what's being done about our problem. There is also an APF Florida Facebook page, for support and and working together to be heard. Also run by the FL APF Leader. Search for American Pain Foundation Action Network FLORIDA- Go to the group page. You will have to be added as a member. This is a closed group for privacy. I live in S Florida and have had trouble for months filling my prescriptions. Its ridiculous. Have spent hours from pharmacy to another plus all the gas. With no luck. They said it would get better after the first of year but as of now not yet. Any online pharmacy that is legitimate would be helpful

Heck, $6.25 isn't anything. I called one pharmacy and all I got out of my mouth was, "Hi, I am calling to find out if you have two of my prescription in stock". That is all I was able to get out of my mouth. I couldn't believe what he said!! He said, "The 15's are $5.00 and the 30's are $10.00 and I have plenty". And then he hung up the phone on me!! I have help and answers for those who need answers and/or help finding the answer "YES". Spread the word. I was finally blessed by God after almost 6 years of searching and searching, and I only feel that it is right for me to help any and everyone I can, because I do know how it is and what you are going through.

Wow, this obviously is a nation-wide epidemic. I can't get mine filled for 30's(120) no where in the state of GA. I have been screaming in so much pain that I have went hoarse, and with all due respect, isn't fair to the people that have no other alternative but to take oral medication. I have had this prescription for two weeks, and have had at least 5 people want to sell me the same type of medicine off the street! I don't understand why I can get anything off the street, but when it comes to being legit and abiding by the law, your screwed. Any suggestions?

yall are very addictied my dieing grandma didnt take that mch pain meds yall are going to 30 diffrent pharmacys even asking strangers over the web to call u to get pills i mean come on if only u were on the outside looking in and iv been addicted to oxycotin for years and can still call out a junkie when i see one. your asking the wrong questions

Listen I feel sorry for peeps with no insurance or have to buy off the street. I have stage 3 cancer and I have also screamed till I was hoarse. This is what the world came to, first of all we have all the abusers and liars that go to the Dr getting the scripts and wait before everyone blames the Dr which we also need to look at. But the abusers are making it tough for the victims in REAL PAIN that have to bring records and pharmacy print outs to our Dr because the good doctors have a hard time believing in us.

I am in Jacksonville and have insurance and have been getting turned down. I went to a pharmacy where someone I know had his filled he paid cash and I have insurance and they told me they were out. Thanks for any help.
