Norco 10-325 Urine Test Times

I need to know if tests with instant ua cup results or lab testing can tell if ive been taking it as prescribed? ive been taking them for a month 1 every 12 hours except for a few days here and there ive had to take 1 more then prescribed because of very bad back pain. i know hydro/norco"s are in your system for 2-4 days but what about having taken them for a month? will my levels be higher and would they be able to tell i didnt wait the full 12 hours before taking another pill? Because 12 hours is a VERY long time when norcos half life peak is at 1.3 hours and are no longer helping pain after 4 hours. But i have a urine test in 2 weeks and im 1 day short on my meds, so can they tell by the instant result pee cup or the lab test they send to afterwards if ive been taking them as prescribed?

Usually the doc is just checking to make sure YOU are taking the mess and not selling them. Those instant read tests are very accurate and usually just tell the doc that narcotics are present in your system. Now if you go in and have ZERO narcotics in your system that could be bad. You aren't abusing the medication and that's all that matters.

Take it from someone who has taken hydrocodone for a whIle - no matter how much pain you are in take FIVE FULL DAYS off each month. This helps prevent your body from adapting to the drug and also ensures you can stop any time without withdrawals. DO NOT take this medication every single day if you can possibly avoid it. Pick your "good days" and don't take any when you have a good day. Realize however that you will hurt a bit more than normal when off this medication.

Wont i get in trouble because if i dont take every day ill have extra and the dr wants to see my pill bottles when i come in once a month, i just want to do what the dr wants but honestly 1 every 12 hours is crazy because the 10-325 only last a max of 4 hours and i was never given any breakthrough pain pills, i kinda feel like im being set up to fail because i know the dr knows 1 10-325 isnt going to keep me out of pain for 12 hours, i mean it would if i just stayed in bed all day but ive gotta work so laying in bed all day isnt a option, im just scared that the dr will see ive had to take 1 more then im supposed to when they send my urine to the lab because he said they are VERY accurate and im scared of being kicked out because i wouldnt be able to goto another pm dr

Also the Dr said they can also tell if im taking more then im supposed to, and im curious how far back these lab test can look to see what ive taken and how they could tell if im taking more then 2 a day, i mean out of 7 days maybe 2 days ill have to take 1 extra only because im just hurting to bad, also im in florida so im sure there extra hard on pain patients making sure there taking there meds correctly

Also im making sure that my last week before i see my pm dr that im taking 1 every 12 hours thats why i was curious how far back lab tests can read the narcotic in my urine, they do use the instant results ua cups but then they also send it to a lab EVERYTIME., also Thank You for replying i was starting to think nobody would reply back

I have been in pain management for about 3 years now and my question is I am prescribed 120 10/325 for 30 days, that as you know is 4 a day with nothing for break through pain. That being said some days are worse than others and I might take 5 that day but then only 2 the next day. My question is, will I be OK if a 12 panel urine test is sent to an outside lab, as long as I haven't ran out of my pain meds? I usually return to my doctor within 2 of a refill.

Hi I take for hydrocodone tens a day and I'm very strict with myself but I went into the hospital this last week for severe depression and anxiety and I did not take any for 4 days and one on the 5th day but I will be on my strict behavior for a week before my test should I tell my doctor should I tell my doctor that I did not take any but for days when I'm taking them all four as prescribed for the week following things can he tell please help I don't want him to know my business about the depression

I took three 10 mg norcos on Friday, then two more on Saturday, then one on Sunday. Will I pass a drug screen if it's not until Thursday? I drink a lot of water.
