My Pain

Updated

Is it normal to have black and blue looking scares. I stopped get my testopel injections cause the area was hurting me all the time plus my last injection the pellets after a month starting coming out. Is any of the normal.

Hello, Msk! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had.

No, that's not typical. There may be some bruising and irritation upon initial insertion, but that should go away in a few days and they shouldn't be coming out.

I think you may do better seeing a different doctor.

The FDA lists this as being a hormonal supplement and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and weight changes.

Is there anything else I can help with?

Just had my second testopel implant done. The first time the minor pain only lasted about 3 days, but on that 3rd day WHEWW. .....that's when the medicine kicked in Man what a difference. Wife became frustrated after being attacked every night LOL! Overall it works great, not just in bed, but for any other physical activities you decide to do. its just there when you need it. The only downside was my iron count got high so I have to give blood every 60 days. that's not a big deal to me. I also lost one pellet around 2 months, heck I started with 12... minus one didn't really make a difference. What they did different this time they stitched the area where the incision was made. other than that I chose to stretch it out almost a year just not to become addicted to it. I think it last longer than 6 months but you start to feel the effects dissipate after 6 months. I'm a active 51 year old male running, hiking, walking and some biking. That's how the pill came out, But the Doctor says it's normal for the pill to come out. Hopefully with the stitches this time they won't.
