If you inject MS contin, you are risking instant DEATH! Don't do it.

Well, I wouldn't say instant death, there is a good chance that there will be some suffering and misery involved first, at least until they pass out from the OD.

You are correct, though, it can be deadly and is not something that anyone should try.

There are reasons it is in a pill form and not meant to given by injection.

About a week ago I crushed up an MS Contin pill that I take & injectind it into my thigh. I did it IM because it lasts longer in your body & helps a little more than IV injections. I was going through Optic Neuritis at the time & nothing was helping. I crushed up the pill, put that in boiling water, filtered it out a couple times, etc... I have done this before when going through the same illness & I have always been ok. The next morning my leg hurt so badly I couldnt walk. It has been over a week now & I still cant walk because of the pain & the fact that my other leg doesnt work to well (I have peripheral neuropathy) I went to the hospital & the so called Dr said he thought it was an abcess & sent me home with antibiotics, he also wanted me to come back in two days for an ultrasoun because the tech was not there until then. I could not go back because as I told him I can not walk & had to have the paramedics bring me in. (i live in a three story walk up & it took 2 people to carry me up in a wheelchair) I do not think its an abcess as its not red, no white tip, & abcesses dont usually hurt that bad less than 8 hours after an injection. I take subq shots daily for my illness & have had them before. There is a a large bump though, & its not where I gave myself the injection. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Could wax do this? If so what do I do? (I have my Ph.D in Bio Chem, so I thought I knew what I was doing, but I guess I could have messed up this time. I say this to who ever is reading this because if I have wax in my leg... well I guess you understand.)

I doubt you have wax in your leg... the same thing happens when you i.m. dope day after day, the spot gets hard & sore and hurts when you bump it or press on it. It leaves kinda like a bruise, and it's really hard. if thats what it is, it's just scar tissue from I.M.'ing, hense why they call it skin POPPING your skin pops up and swells in the spot you pop it...... i.v. is the way to go. ;).... Only if your going to do it regardless. otherwise dont start up cuz you'll never be able to quit.... i'm in a panic right now cuz they just reformulated oxycontin I have no dope, i'm like freaking the f*** out........ dont start iv'ing unless your like READY 4 A RIDE!!!!! A crazy ass one that never ends, hahaaha....... but yea if your im'ing it just iv, i.m. has to many risks of forming abcesses.
