Mova 500 - Naproxen

I found this pill in my kids room...just wondering do people abuse this drug? Please let me know

I heard that some people have used it recreationally ... just wondering..I'm worried and am hoping my kid is not hooked on them..

Naproxen will not get someone high, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. It is commonly sold over the counter in a lower dosage as Aleve or generic or store brands.

This is, however, a prescription strength tablet, so your child should not have it. It is illegal to have this without a valid prescription.

The other operative question you may want to look into is what your child thinks it is, do they think it is something they can get high off of, like a narcotic? Have they been taking other medications that they shouldn't be?
