Morphine To Suboxone

Ive been on 60 mg of morphine for one and a half months. How long should I wait after my last dose of morphine before i take suboxone? Does time or withdrawal symptoms matter more?

Just 6 weeks of Morphine isn't a time frame that would qualify someone as needing Suboxone treatment.

But as to when to take it, there isn't a precise time frame, but someone does have to be in full withdrawal, or the Naloxone in it can throw them into very dangerous withdrawals.

I was injecting up to 400 mgs a day of morphine just to feel normal ( not 400 at once!!!!) anyhow i lost everything ,,homes ,,harleys ,yu no the drill .. I can honestly say that after 2 near death exp. in 1 night I simply made a call to the intake at the health centre and was seen by a meth doctor 9 days later , he first gave me 6mgs of suboxone ,,i YOU MUST BE IN WITHdRAwL Min 48 hours ,,72 is better but here i said i went 48 and it was 48 ,,, chills ,,,swets again yu no the drill ,,when he gave me 6 mgs of suboxone like any junky ,i tested the drug against a smack of 60 mgs of morphine (eselons) i felt the tingles but man when i came down I was truly sick ...Im on 24 mgs and have 2 months clean !! i couldnt have done it on my own at all Suboxone saved my life ,,after 1 heart attack at 48 yrs old i started injecting again for a 2 year run ,,i no you dont no me but DONT CHEAT be a min...of 48 hours in withdrawl again 72 is the ultimate but i did it at 48hrs only my addict brain said hey use ,,just go see what happens ?? Dont make the same mistake it aint worth it ,,yah after 2 mnths clean ive come across some real testers to pick up * mostly everyday life as ive been abusing opiates since i was 9 (mothers cough syrup) regardless you made the right choice for suboxone and not methadone ,,,tahts enother story ,,yu,ll be a lifer on the juice is all i can say ! hope this helps you out ,,being clean and mst of all stilll alive after so many ppl i no are dead from overdoses well these days IM Hummble cyah Ken K
