They are the exact same thing, Morphine sulfate is just the full name for it and the sulfate designates the exact chemical salt that it is derived from, so no, they would both be detected exactly the same.

I have Morphine Sulfate 100 mg er and Morphine Sulfate 30 mg ir. If I took a urine test would it show I'm taking one and not the other? I want to taper myself off these things on my own using the 30s and try not taking the 100 mg, but can they tell I'm doing that in a urine test? Thank you.

A friend of mine took 150 mg of morphine on august 13th. She stopped taking it 4 days before her urine test. Will it be out of her system in time or does she have to wait longer than 4 days? She's 31 years old, 5'3 and 160 pounds.

can lab detect morphine sulfate that was sucked on? I had my husband suck on a morphine sulfate 30mg tablet to remove the outer coating for me. He was then tested by his pain management Dr. who sends urine out to a lab for results. Will this amount of morphine show up on a lab test? He did not swallow the pill but did suck long enough to remove all of the coating. Thanks. I need help...

I took a urine drug screen and I am prescribed morphine sulfate 100 mg extended-release three times a day and 30 mg morphine sulfate immediate release every 4 hours, and I also am prescribed and take Adderall 20 mg daily. I have taken several urine drug screens and they always come up with extra stuff. A couple times they came up positive for codeine also and once came up positive for Oxycodone also. And never have I taken anything other than my prescribed dosages of morphine sulfate and Adderall. What is going on? Why do my tests keep coming back with extra stuff on them?? Never have they came back with just morphine and Adderall - there has always been an extra opiate also showing positive on the UDS. Just some extra information about myself: I do not drink any alcohol nor do I use any drugs legal or illegal.

Poppy seed muffins contain morphine and codeine as well as two other components.. Sounds crazy. but it actually happened to me... Look it up, don't take my word for it..
