What is the difference in metoprolol tart and metoprolol er? ## If it is just listed as Metoprolol Tartrate, then it is the regular release version of the medication. If it is listed as Metroprolol ER, then it is a controlled released version meant to be taken once daily. Metoprolol Succinate ER 50 MG TAB, white, elipitical, 69E, scored to indicate half. Please advise re warnings of absorbency (e.g. kidneys), interactions, and any problems with dividing in half. I also need any pharaceutical sheet references. ## Number on my pill is 369 and it is more than 3X the size of one I have from a different company. What are the side effects of drinking while taking this durg? I am also scared to start taking this medicine, I am 28 years old. I shouldn't have high blood pressure or heart problems. What should I do? ## Unfortunately, blood pressure and heart problems can strike at any age and if you have them then treatment is necessary, unless you want to suffer a stroke or possible death at 30. i have been taking metoprolol 50mg and just refilled the new pills are larger and have 369 stamped on one side and scored on the other. ## Is that the only marking? ## I, too, got a refill of Metoprolol succ ER 50 MG and noticed the change in pill size, larger, 369 printed on front and scored on back; questioned the pharmacist and change of manufacturer was the response. ## I think there could be more than 50mg in that large of a pill. My wife found a bag of white Oval pills with 369 on one sid and a score on the other. No other markings. HI, I have been taking Metoprolol since July . In the 7 months I have been taking it, they have changed the manufacturer three times. With such severe side effects, I don't care if it is the same pill, the filler is essential to the pill and how your body reacts to the pill. It is really frusterating to me that they keep on changing the manufacturer as they please and just saying it is the same pill. I was pretty upset the last time they changed the manufacturer because I was right in the middle of a big 3 day exam, and that was the last thing I needed. But actually what I noticed, I started to feel 100 percent better when I got on I think it is called TAB. The TAETH I was taking, I don't know what the problem was, but after about 3 months of taking it, I started to get really s...

I was on Metoprolol 50 mg 2 pills 2 times a day...never had a problem with blood pressure from min. I took it no racing heart no high blood pressure,,,New Doc switched from that to 100 mg metoprolol 1 pill 2 times a day well even since have not felt well had to stop taking other meds made blood pressure go up so did stress ut on other dose blood pressure was always fine has anyone ever had problem like this...

I was on metoprolol tapar then the pharmacy sent different pill. They sent metoprolol taeth. When I called they said that pill was no longer available and they were the same. Now months later they sent me tapar again with a little sticker attached saying it is the same pill just different shape. Please tell me is there a difference and if one is generic?
