Methylprednisolone Nausea A Week Later?

Last week I stopped the 6 day course on day three because of sever side effects.
I took this medicine two months ago I finished the compleate 6 days course with NO side effects!
Now I'm the sorriest person I tryed it again.
My pain is as bad as ever! And now any meds I try within two how's I'm severely nauseated!!
I'm just taking over-the-counter Aleve and over-the-counter Tylenol not together every 6 to 8 hours for the severe pain but two hours and I'm dying to throw up so it's either supper what extreme pain or suffer with nausea.
I'm going to the doctor today and he told me that it must be still Methylprednisolone Still in my system?
Has anybody else suffered this problem if so how long before this horrible medication leaves my system so I can take a written over-the-counter Tylenol without retching my guts ?

I took the pack the first of October, and I am still dealing with the effects of the pack, 2 1/2 months later. The whole month of October I had nausea, racing heart, heart palps, light headed, and severe insomnia. (Those were just the bad side effects!!) Now I am still dealing with withdrawel symptoms, and thinking I have adrenal fatigue. I wish I never took this Devil drug.
I hope you recover quicker than I am...

Thanks for your reply and I'm so sorry that you have to go to this suffering as well and for such a long time .
I just got home from a five hour stay in the ER again what is severe nausea and diarrhea caused by this medication and I cannot take any pain meds whatsoever because they upset my stomach even more I don't know what's worse the pain in my spine and legs are did not sleeping all night from the side effects of this horrible steroid ?
Right now I am suffering in agonizing pain and the only thing I can do is apply heat and then 20 minutes later I apply ice I know I'll be up all night again praying that God takes this way from us all

It can be normal for side effects such as these to linger for a week, or so, after finishing the medication, according to the NIH.

However, as to the nausea, if you have experience some stomach damage, that may take longer to heal and the Aleve and Tylenol might just be aggravating it, since they are both harsh on the stomach.

Fed Up, if you are still experiencing such symptoms, you need to have yourself checked out by your doctor to be safe.

Ronnie, have you tried anything to help your stomach, such as antacids, if your doctor approves of your trying one?

I went to the doctor they took blood work and stool samples on me she prescribe some Prilosec and medication for nausea the test results will not be back until next week

I finished the 6 day course on Wednesday. Since then I've been jittery, my heart rate is in the 130s, ive had nausea come & go with random bouts of vomiting. I initially didn't correlate it to withdrawal symptoms until my mom mentioned it. I was thinking id have them while taking the medication. And what's worse is it didnt help my back pain which I'm still dealing with.
