What are the effects of mixing Zanaflex with methamphetamine?

Are there any reported dangers of taking zanaflex to calm you down after taking methamphetamine?

I haven't had methamphetamine since I was twenty and I'm now thirty two. I used to do it more often back then but I also drank alcohol so it kinda mellowed it all out. I no longer drink or use methamphetamine. I have been sober four years. I never used to take it for pain but I heard that it could help with pain and I have chronic back pain for years now and I am building a tolerance to my Percocet that I take regularly. I have spoke with my doc and he won't up the dose yet so this last month I had a few major strenuous days and I took a little more to help so I ran out early. Stupid me I know well I get even dumber if you can believe that. I heard methamphetamine helps with pain and since I couldn't get anymore meds right now from my doc I tried it. It was easier to get a hold of so I figured why not. Well I don't drink now and it helped with my back pain a little but not enough to keep this dumb idea going. So now instead of alcohol winding me down I am going as fast as a race horse. I can't drink as I'm a recovering alcoholic and I'm super proud of that so I'm not gonna drink but I never was hooked on methamphetamine and I'm not now either.

I just have two questions: Can I take my tizanidine that I also get prescribed to take for muscle spasms at bed after having this methamphetamine or will I die or anything? I hope it just calms me back down to sleep. Also I am breastfeeding and his pediatrician said the Percocet and tizanidine I take is fine because he is three now. I only feed him for bed and maybe one nap throughout the day but sometimes not even. Well I wasn't thinking this through when I took the methamphetamine. Now it's bedtime. What do I do? Can I feed him? He is so big now I don't know if it would affect him or not. He doesn't even really drink but I can't pump or even squirt any out to pump and dump. My boobs don't fill up like they used to. I only produce enough for him when he drinks from me and it sucks because a little while back he played favorites and now I only lactate from my left boob so I don't know what to do? Can I feed him? Will it harm him at all or just let him cry with his cup for a few days and get a hold of a pump and see what I can do? This sucks. I feel horrible. If you all say not to feed him I guess I won't. I just want some input on taking the tizanidine and breastfeeding my son. I love him and myself and I don't want to harm either of us. I don't want him to get taken from me. I am a good mom. I just made a mistake like we all do. Please help me with answers anyone. Thanks.

Since Zanaflex is a muscle relaxant, it is basically a downer, while Methamphetamine is a stimulant, so according to FDA and NIH reports, there is a risk of confusing your body and causing yourself to go into shock. In these types of situations, your body really doesn't know which one it is supposed to respond to, and in many cases, it just shuts down..... think of what happens when a computer is running its normal software and then catches a virus... they compete against each other, which usually results in the computer crashing. Our bodies are very similar, though it is biologic, rather than software and hard drives.

Thus, it is best not to combine them.
