I would like to get off the methadone. Im sick of the clinic rules, the police watching people go in and out and the expense. I know chasing drugs is expensive but I want to switch to subs. I am on a 90 mg dose right now and want to go down quickly. If anyone has done this please inform me The clinic will lower me 5 mgs a month ## What medicine are the best to use when quitting subutex? How do Barclay Pharmacy get away with charging $1200.00 for 150 pills of Roxiecodone???!!! And $500.00 for 180 pills of Methadone??!! ## Supply and demand. There is nothing that makes them charge less. When supplies are short, they can charge as they please. Generics are supposed to be cheaper, but sometimes things happen that change that such as a shortage in raw materials. Can I take the pill m 57 71 after I have use herion in the same day ## Dear London, I really wouldn't mix the 2 together. Wait until u r withdrawing b 4 u take the meth. U will get the best results that way. It can b very dangerous 2 mix the 2. Not 2 mention meth is an opiate, but, also prevents u from feeling the effect of other opiates. ## @London, if you're looking for a second opinion I will say that I do agree with the previous comment, in that, it may be a good idea to wait it out a little longer and not mix the two together without knowing how it's going to effect you. I am 65 y/o male who has been on Rx opiates several years. I cheated when the Rx arrived early in the mail and had extra tablets. When taking codeine sulphate and long acting morphine the pills were shipped together. When the codeine was switched to Norco the meds were mailed separately. The VA is where I receive health care. The Norco was always sent out on day 31 taking up to 10 days to arrive even on 28 day & 30 months. The morphine was always overnighted and arrive on time. The time gap between shipments left me taking excessive amounts of one to cover for the other and visa-versa. At the end I would 30mg Norco QTH when out of morphine. I would crush 6, 30mg morphine tablets daily while out of the Norco. Of course I found myself without either drug for up to a week at a time goi...

Jumping down 30mgs might just be too big of a drop for your body to handle and you may need to go a little slower. Narcotics can cause CNS depression, but the real question is how bad is your COPD? That's a very low dose of both medications. Though they all carry the risk of being habit forming and can cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and drowsiness.

I have been on methadone for about 3 weeks now. I started at 30 and I a currently on 60. The problem that is bothering me is that I am tired and will nod a lot. Is this just because I just started this program or is my dose to high??? ## I have been on Methadone for over 10 years now. if I knew then what I know now I wouldn't be on such a high dose as I currently am. If you're nodding, then your dose is a little too high. My suggestion to you is to cut back 5 or 10 mg a day and see how that works. I promise you, the higher you go the harder it is to get off meth. If you are really serious about being drug free, develop a good relationship with a PCP (Personal Care Physician) and let him know what’s going on with you. Recently I was denied college enrollment (surgical tech) due to the fact that I'm on methadone for pain management. I take a low maintenance dose of 60mg/day and am well managed. I have fibromyalgia, sciatica and arthritis and something wrong with my back that I can't pronounce. I had a felony that was almost 20 yrs. old and first they made me get an expungement delaying my enrollment for 41/2 months. Ive been on methodone for chronic pain for the past 9 years and on the same dose of 60mg a day for the past 6-7 yrs. ive been dealing with chronic pain for the past 11 yrs since i was only 25 yrs old after suffering for the 1st two yrs i was prescribed methodone which helped tremendously.
