Methadone To Suboxone- Depression

I am currently at 30mgs of methadone and have been for 2 weeks now. I have been weaning down from 95 mgs for 3 years now. I am wanting (and needing) to switch to suboxone bc of the faster detox. (Supposed to be faster to wean off suboxone than methadone). i know about the COWS assessment and how important it is to switch safely, but i have another concern. Before i was on methadone i was abusing heroin for 3 years. so for 6 years i have been feeding my brain opiates. I never have gotten high off methadone (never could catch my tolerance), but even so, i was giving my body artificial dopamine by taking it everyday. I am TERRIFIED that when i switch to suboxone I wont have that artificial dopamine and that i will spin into a horrible depression. Anyone who's been an opiate addict knows the pain of getting clean. And im not talking about the wd's, im talking about the mental anguish after the wd's. It feels like your hollow inside you're in so much mental pain. So I'm really scared that this is how i will feel being off methadone. Does anyone have any experience with this, or have any advice for overcoming this problem? I have a history of anxiety and depression(have been on an antidepressant since i was 17 and i am 27 now) so i feel like this makes the situation even worse. thanks for any advice/ words of encouragement

methadone withdrawl was the worst thing that ever happened to me i quit cold turkey because i was angry that i lost my job because one i had to go to the clinic everyday (it was a morning job) and two it made me so sleepy my alarm wouldnt wake me up i was on 60 mill three years the withdrawl lasted three months the first month severe loose stool puking dysphoria depression anxiety excess tears super insomnia got about five minutes alseep a day restless leg bad nerves i wanted to die suboxone saved me its alot better for me im not sleepy all the time i love the suboxone and stay at 4 or 8 milk and when your ready to get off take six months and slowly taper to .25 mill and youll be good i find the subs off the street and im going to try and get prescribed tomorrow
