Methadone: I Drank 5 6oz Glassses Of Water 45 Minutes Before Taking A Drug Test For Methadone And 1 12 Hours Prior How Could Flunk Strip

I drank 5 6oz glasses of water 30 to 45 minutes prior to a strip drug test plus I also took 1 12 hours prior to that. How could I NOT receive a positive result? I have lost my ability to receive any more scripts because of this and I am bewildered!

You're saying the Methadone didn't show up on the urine test?

With all that water, immediately prior to the test, it is possible that it diluted your urine far too much for it to be detected.

Another question is, where you taking it regularly, as often as you were supposed to? If not, this can also affect the levels that can be detected in your urine.

why would you drink all that water before your drug test? did u say you took methadone 1 and half hrs before thr drug test? i would ask for another test theses tests can come back wrong iv had loads of tests negative for heroine and cannbis when iv smoked both for weeks before the test and iv had tests where it was posative for benzo's when i dnt take them??? like i sadis ask for another test and dnt drink as much water.

its simple your lying....dont try to go on one of thede sites filled of drug addicts, like yourself and try to get us to give you answer, that you will use to try and convince a lab their test is wrong..whats up with you drinking a river before your test? mmmm sounds like somebody is up to no good...

ur pretty funny u don't know anything i have been on methadone for 4 years and have never peed dirty in the whole 4 years and i have never peed with no methadone in my system but for some reason today when i went to take my test there was no methadone in it and they took my carries away till i can see my actual doctor witch is on monday he will give me my carries back because he knows me well and trusts me. i dont know why it happened sometimes tests mess up i also drank a few glasses of water so i could actually pee and im sure lots of other people drink water before a urine test so they can pee also so i dont know why you need to come on a site with addicts and try and tell them there lying when it has happened to lots of people before the pharmacist told me that there has been 6 cases this week were peoples urine tests were coming up with no methadone when they were taking it. just because you try to lie to get yourself out of situations don't mean everyone does

i take 4 methadones a day and my urine said not enough metabolism why is that. they had to send it off will it be ok.

you are a horible person to say something to someone like that , and just becous people do drugs dont mean that there all drug addicts , theres functioning and non functioning addicts and if the guy is on methadone then i give him a hi five for that becous most people dont wantto receive help if there drug addicts so next time befor you speak think befor you do.

HONESTLY I THINK THAT PERSON WHO REPLYED IS A F*****G MORON , I USE HYDRO MORPHINE - OXY NEOS - DILAUDES AND IM PRESCRIBED BENZO'S , I TRYED TO GO GET METHADONE 6 TIMES NOW AND THERE TRYING TO TELL ME IN MY DRUG TEST THAT IT IS NEGATIVE FOR ALL OXYS - HYDROS - BENZOS AND COKE .. EVERY SINGLE ONE EXCEPT OXYS AND MORPHINE SHOWED UP LIKE CHRISTMAS TREES AND JUST BECOUS THE MORPHINE AND OXYS BARELY HAD A LINE THEY WOULDNT GIVE ME METHADONE AND SAID I AM TESTING NEGATIVE !! WHY I DONT KNOW WHEN I IV 4 HYDRO 30S A DAY AND DID A SMASH BEFOR I WENT TO SEE THE DOC , WHAT DO YOU THINK I COULD DO ??? IM IN HAMILTON ONTARIO , CANADA !!

Here is the thing with urinalysis, you cannot drink all that water...it will dilute the urine so much that it is not a proper specimin. The best think is to drink a large mug of coffee an hour or an hour and a half before. Coffee is a diuretic which increases urine production. People!!! You know these ua's are goung to happen, so try to take some time and be prepared. Also, you have the right to ask for a re-test, tell them you might have drank way too much water and they might be able to help.
