Medicine To Delay The Start Of My Period

I need to delay the art of my period due to the fact that my husband and I are going away for our 25th wedding anniversary and my period is due to start at the exact time we leave for vacation. I am not on the pill but I want to dely the start of my period for one week

The problem is that any medication that can do this is going to be hormonal based, just like the contraceptive pills, which means it could actually make you start rather than delaying it, since your body isn't used to taking it.
