Medicaid Pays Methadone At Fl. Clinic.....yes.....
UpdatedToday was my first day starting at the meth clinic in central east coast Fl. I was told to have $117.00 to start the meth and for the next 3 days and to my BIG surprise I only had to pay $6.00. I have medicaid due to the fact that I am on SSI. You don't know how HAPPY I was. Just thought I would let everyone know that some clinics DO take medicaid so before you pay cash make sure that you ask about it..Don't know about medicare but medicaid YES for this clinic...Hope this can help someone...
Have a nice day.........

I need to find a clinic in Florida that accepts medicade. I'm on disability and can no longer afford 13.00 per day that it costs. I have been a maintenance patient for over 15 years and really need help. Thanks so much for any help anyone can give me.
i been looking for a doctor for myself i can not find one that takes medicaid what doctor are you talking about
Thanks for the post. According to what I've found out Medicaid is allowed by Federal law to pay for methadone but I'm having a hard time finding out WHERE. You said central east coast florida...but WHERE? Can you give me the name of the clinic?
I noticed your reply about methadone in fla was a bit old. Did you ever find a doctor that takes medicaid who can help? I'm asking because I need HELP badly. I'm on medicaid/SSI-Disability and I just CAN'T afford to pay the maintenance fee and keep from being homeless both.
It's called the central Florida treatment center located in Fort Pierce I go there and they accept Medicaid
PAR-MAPS accepts Medicaid. They are located on 150th Ave in Largo Florida.
any of the (Central Florida Treatment Center) accept medicaid.....I think there is 4 or 5 throughout the state
What clinic and where in Florida
My husband got addicted to pain pills after an accident. He started going to a methadone clinic here in Indianapolis. But we are moving to Florida soon I am trying to find a clinic there. Something maybe near Brandon or Ruskin even gibsonton or valrico. If anyone can help please let me know. He has no insurance.thank you
If your husband has SSI and can get Medicaid he has it made. Florida has an EXCELLENT Medicaid system compared to other southern states (don't know about rest of nation). If he doesn't qualify for that but isn't working, he can go to the Public Health Clinic in every county and sign up for a clinic card. This is like "basic Medicaid"--you have to go to the doctor's (or the clinics) THEY tell you to, you have NO choice. But at least you have coverage. If he is on methadone, I personally would log onto the State of Florida website and look up the Methadone Oversight Commission, or whoever is over the methadone programs in FLA. If you can't find it by a search on the state site, try department of health, make a few calls and ASK who is in charge. Be prepared to do some homework. I have heard there are SOME clinics that take Medicaid. And it is POSSIBLE (but probably not) that the clinic (which BTW is based totally by income) MIGHT agree to help you out. Be HONEST and don't try a bunch of stories because in FLA they've heard them all. Being a "purple state" thank God, the Republicans haven't been able to totally eliminate what is in effect socialized medicine: Medicaid, clinic cards, etc. If you are a Republican, all I can say is: you are hitting yourself in the foot. If you have no insurance, and no chance of your job giving it to you (or you are unemployed or disabled), who do you think cares more about your plight? It amazes me how many Republicans are poor, can't work, are disabled, need medical coverage desperately, but still toe the party line and are "afraid" we will suddenly turn into communists. The only REAL communist nation left is North Korea, and its more of a weird nutso monarchy. Even Viet Nam has a growing economy due to relaxation of communist control. My advice: get him into a pain clinic if he has ANYTHING remotely wrong with him, as you'll pay WAY more at a methadone clinic. The one I went to cost $14 a day. That's $140 every 10 DAYS!!! And I HAD to go to this nasty place full of junkies and pan-handlers because the pain doc I way going to started getting lax in his policies about making new patients have something REALLY wrong, I*****. Anyway, it was methadone or be sick AND in pain. The choice is unfortunately all too easy to see.
Is there any other places that accept medicaid for methadone treatment besies central Florida treatment center? Or do you know of any doctors that will prescribe methadone please help thanks
Does anybody know a methadone clinic in Boynton beach or Delray beach Florida? Also I came across an online company that fills scripts for controlled substances including methadone without giving them a script.. Is this legitimate or is it a DEA setup?
Does anybody know a methadone clinic in Boynton beach or Delray beach Florida? Also Do they take I sura ce? I have Humana through Medicaid.
Try Dacco in tampa
Any place, online or off that fills rxs without a script is a rip off and illegal.
Access recovery solutions (arsdelray.com) is now open in delray beach. it is a beautiful facility located at 16244 S. Military Trail. 561-865-2550

What city in Florida is the methadone clinic at that takes Medicaid? I also have SSI and Medicaid and want to transfer from the methadone clinic I am at to one in Florida.
Central Florida Treatment Center is where you need to go my friend
Lucky you. I pay $503 a month. There are no places around me that accept insurance and it's crazy what they charge.
hi, I'm currently on a meth. program, I live in New York City, but I'm in the process of moving to port st. lucie, my question is, presently I have medicaid and medicare, I'm 65 years old and on SSD, is there a clinic that I can transfer to that is close by?
The waiting lists for the clinics accepting Medicaid in some states are impossibly long. In some places clinics won't do it at all because Medicaid pays less than a cash paying client. MMT clinics are businesses like any other and rely on profit to stay open. My clinic is cash only. I pay $332 a month. I guess it's a small price to pay to have my life back. But I still sometimes feel barely able to financially stay afloat.
Google methadone clinics near me and it will usually give u phone numbers call and ask them they will tell u I use central Florida treatment center and they have like 6 locations I go to ft pierce but they habe Orlando and a few other places too
are there Miami methadone clinic for pain clinics that accept Medicaid for Methadone
That would be helpful if our state actually expanded Medicaid but we are one of the states refusing to go along with Obama care so I'm one of the hundreds of thousands left in the uninsured gap.
