Meathadone Doctor

Looking for a doctor in Montgomery Co. Md or close to perscribe Methadone, I have been on a methadone for 15 yrs, I go to a clinic, the problem is I,m a building contractor, 53 yrs old and have had surgery on my back and knee, and I hurt most of the time, the clinic will only give 5mgs more and its just not enough, I,m at 110mgs but I,ve been on it for so long, I have saved meathadone on my good days and on my bad days I,ll take 200 mgs to 240 mgs and really makes me feel so much better, I work hard, I sweat alot, I think the meathadone just goes through my system very fast.Can you please help help me. I am a 57 yr. old male and been on 160mgs. a day for 4 yrs. The sweats are normal in males.I switched from other analgesics 100mcg fentanel and methodone is great cause of no tolerance build up.

And, unfortunately, from having lived there for awhile myself, I can tell you that it is highly unlikely that you will find a doctor willing to prescribe it in Montgomery County, MD.

It is very hard in most areas of Maryland, to get any regular practitioner to prescribe any type of pain medication for long-term use.

There are usually only 2 ways to get Methadone there and that is through a clinic, or a pain management program and, in most cases, pain management doctors will prefer other medications over Methadone and will only resort to narcotics, after they have exhausted all other avenues of treatment.
