Thank You SSSOOOOOO very much for posting this reply! I am terrified to take ANYTHING with my Methadone and it makes me feel tons better to know I can treat this UTI without worry of killing myself with a darn drug interaction lol

I have macrobid left over from a previous uti. I know without a doubt I have another one its been 8 months since my last uti. I've recently been prescribed methadone liquid 100mgs 1× a day. Is macrobid cross tolerant with methadone HCl?

I'm terrified also to take anything with methadone & I have frequent UTI'S & have received antibiotics and had heart palpitations & called the pharmacy or was prescribes antibiotics & the pharmacy would call & say it was very dangerous too take these together . I'm glad macro if has no side effects & I have taken it the past for UTI'S

I take methadone daily and have had 0 side effects from macrobid, but the first dose of macrobid I took I did spike a mild fever and have no clue why?My infection was pretty bad though might have to do with that??
