I'm not finding a whole lot of information on Lupizox, but from what I've read it appears as though the active ingredient may be Meperidine (more commonly known as Demerol). Meperidine is in a class of medications called narcotic analgesics; a group of pain medications similar to morphine. It works by changing the way the body senses pain.

Since this medication can be used to relieve moderate to severe pain, there's no real reason why it wouldn't help relieve menstrual pain. However, in my opinion, there are better/safer options out there that are more specifically geared towards relieving pain in that area (i.e. clary sage essential oil).

I hope this helps!
