Lryica Side Effects

Started Lyrica in Sept 2011 with 75mg 2X a day and doctor has increased it to 150mgs 3x a day until 2 weeks ago because of my desperate plea that i was not getting anymore benifits. The swelling in my hand and legs was extreem. hair loss, myfront teeth were numb,, trouble breathing started one month after he prescribed lyrica and gave me a puffer. Confusion or memory loss....i was feeling like i was losing my mind.
i am now down to 150 mg and next week i am suppose to go down to one. I am worried about withdrawls. I also take Naproxen, citalopram, oxycodone and have been on medication for mva"s for almost 20 years. i am 39 now.. I was diagnosed with nerve damage to my hands, fibromialgia. chronic back pain, thorasic outlet syndrome, whith trigger finger syndrome, sciatia, tmj and a few other things,oh and an auto ammune disorder because my hair keeps falling out in patches but mostly grows back.

Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain.

However, as such, it shouldn't cause the same type of withdrawals that one would experience from a narcotic and on top of that fact, the gradual taper you're doing should also minimize the little it can cause.

Nicole, go to any hair dresser and ask for Nioxin Cleanser and Scalp Therapy. Its a shampoo and conditioner. Use it for about 6 weeks and you'll start to see your hair growing back. Any beauty shop will probably have it. I get mine at Smart Style in front part of Walmart.

I stopped using Lyrica, the side effects were too much to take. I am now just on an Oxy which seems to help with the pain without serious side effects.

Still taking lyrica 75mg 3times a day. also 1 1/2 percoctet .citalopram 40 mg , spironolactone 100 mg and have started taking ephrdra again to help with my nasal problems.

I am using all these meds and need to no if I can take lyrica 75 mg 2 p/d with it. I have listed below all my illness I have.
Xeralto 20mg 1 p/d
CyGen 60mg 1 p/d
Nexmezol 40mg 1 p/d
Tramecet 2 tabs 3 x p/d
Stilnox 1 at night
Eltroxin 1mg 1 p/d
Dopaquel 25mg 1 at night
I need to no can Lyrica 75mg 2 p/d be taken with al these meds. I have fybramyalgia,get abdominal obstruction as I don't have any bowl movement any more and I have been in ICU twice in 3 months with pulmonary Embulism and the (R) lung dead at the bottom now with a blood clot still sitting in dead part of the lung.
