Losartan/hct 100-12

Asked for refill on Losartan/HCT 100-12 and got Losart/HCT 100-12.5. Is this the same medicine? What is the difference?

Dear Dr. In 2011 Dr. treated me Angio Plasty at india and the same time Dr priceped Three time medicines(1) morning Amlodipine 10 mg,pantoprazole 40 mg and vitamin tab once a day, afternoon plavix 75.mg, ecosprin 150 mg and Nebicard 5.mg and night Loasrtn(Repace) 50 mg,crestor 10 mg, fenofibrate(stanlip)145 mg and Ativan 2mg.Four month back i visited india and met the Dr. and tested all the blood,Scan etc.Now i am living Chicago(USA) with my son,Next time i will visite india November 2013 only. Please advice me till i will take above medicine and also advice me whether above medicine which i take now good for my health. Please mail me about your opnion My BP no 145/75 to 80.
Further i am a 76 year old person In usa i do't have any medical Insurance, I am paying more dallars for medicines i do't have any incom i am sitting my son house, please advaice me any sorec to get descont for the above medicine.

@John,

I believe that the only difference is the dosage. They appear to be the same medication but I think there is .5 more grams of Hydrochlorothiazide in your new prescription. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic drug of the thiazide class that acts by inhibiting the kidneys' ability to retain water.

Dear DR. Now i cam to USA my son house, can i take above madicine contionu or how long i will take. i donot have and medical insurance 76 year old man no incom my son brought me last year, now he also trasper to india. All the medicines very costly,I apporiched us dept. they isurance only us cityzen only elegible.please give me any surse to get free or some discount medicins here.please help me. Now i am at Naperville at my frnd house.
