Loloestrin - No More Period After Stopping?

I started taking lo-loestrin in May. I had a 2 month supply free from my doc & then in June (June 18th) I broke my ankle pretty badly. I stopped taking the lo-loestrin for a few reason...

1) I was on seriously heavy pain meds & forgot a few days in a row & started my period (which was pretty brief - maybe 2-3 days)
2) I really hate taking BC & I figured there's no way I'm doing anything to need BC when my ankle is severely broken.

I planned on starting it again after I got my next period...thing is...it still hasn't come!! So it was the end of June when I had my last period...it's not August 15th...and I haven't been sexually active since May!! So unless I'm carrying baby Jesus, that just isn't a possibility!

Some more information:

I was taking some heavy duty pain meds for about 3 weeks after breaking it - dilaudid's for 2 weeks (1-2mg 5-6x/day) then I switched to lortabs for one more week. I've been off those for about a month & I'm taking only 800mg Motrin 2-3x day.

I've obviously been very limited in my physical activity. I went from doing roughly 50-60 flights of stairs/day to none (at least none on my feet). I have been doing situps & leg lifts just to do something...but I used to be on my feet all day...so it's still a significant difference from before I broke my ankle.

I'm wondering if the lo-loestrin could be related to the complete lack of a period in any way...or if this is something weird with my hormones...any information with help!!

Well, I'm glad that you finally started.

And yes, it was likely just due to a hormonal fluctuation created by taking the BC for awhile and then stopping it.
