Linzess Review - My Experiences
UpdatedI have suffered constipation for years- sometimes no BM for weeks. Eventually- I just stopped all BM completely. I resorted to bisacodyl once per week. Eventually, I had to take 4 at a time- until that stopped working. Scheduled colonoscopy but the prep didn't work. Second prep did only because I mixed it with large amounts of bisacodyl. Results showed nothing. Doctor gave me linzess. 145 mg didn't work. 290 mg also didn't work. So, again, I took lots of bisacodyl. After that, I started the linzess again- after the clean out, I am now having BM every other day. Very loose but after the BM it's not like I'm running to the bathroom all day. I suspect I will have to periodically take the bisacodyl to keep things moving- but maybe only once every couple weeks instead of completely depending on it. I think the drug works- it's not perfect though. But what is?
