Linzess Has Destroyed My Hair No More

Has anyone had the problem with linzess changing the structure of their hair. My hair wish shopping and healthy when I started taking linzess.

Almost any medication can cause problems with the growth of your hair and nails, since they are fed by dead cells in our body, thus anything that could affect our cells, can cause problems with our hair and nails, according to NIH studies.

Other side effects as listed by the FDA may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, bloating, and diarrhea.

One of my blood pressure/heart medications has caused my nails to become very brittle, so they crack and break very easily.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking a few months & starting today I'm done !!
Texture change & drier & falling out !!!
My hair has never been like this .. I changed blow dryers & product & just searched side effect of hair loss & seen all the comments

Yes I have noticed a change in my hair !!!
Have been on linzess & finally today it it me to look up side effects on hair loss
Texture has been fuzzy & dry & the falling out out has been awful.. never has my hair done this
Had blood work done & results has of yesterday were all good
Not taking linzess anymore & had just popped a pill this morning & then googled linzess side effect with hair loss & there was so much to read .. when I googled it before I just checked side effects for linzess
So few days ago I tried something called
Natures Bounty for hair skin & nails with biotin
There gummies .. so started those few days ago to help with my hair & threw out the linzess & will figure out something else to help with IBS

Also I'm a hairdresser & knew something was wrong just couldn't pinpoint it .. also thought it was stress , or staring if menopause

Try biotin to help your hair and nails. I've been taking 5000 mcg daily for several years. My doctor put me on Linzess almost 5 months ago, I haven't noticed any changes in my hair, skin or nails in that time.

I been having the same problem! My hair was thick and long! I always used to get compliments on how pretty it WAS! I never thought it could be a medication for the stomach could be the reason! Stopping it Today!!
