Libertrim 200 Mg
UpdatedI was prescribed this med while in Mexico to alleve constipation of one week. BlueCross BlueShield Insurance says that "these services and supplies are not covered by the Retail Pharmacy Program". Is this an over-the-counter drug? or why were they able to deny coverage?

Libertrim contains the active ingredient Trimebutine, which is used to treat various gastro-intestinal problems.
My guess as to why they won't cover it would be because it is not an FDA approved medication and most U.S. based insurance companies will not cover medications that are not approved for use.
