Lexamil Medication

I have been taking Lexamil 10mg to 20mg for one and a half months. My body feels stiff and tingly nervous. How long before I start feel relaxed and calm. If Lexamil is not the right medication for me, what would you advise I take instead. One more thing, if Lexamil is an Anti-Depressent, how does it help with nerve repair?

Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram and yes, it is an SSRI class antidepressant and some of them can help with some types of nerve pain.

It is not an anti-anxiety medication, so it will not make you feel relaxed and calm, that's not how it works. It may help with some symptoms, but as an antidepressant it does not have those types of effects.

It will also not do anything to repair the nerves, it can help with some pain, due to the way it acts on brain chemicals, but will not fix or cure nerve damage.
