L053 Yellow Pill

i found a round yellow pill it says L053 on one side the other side has nothing on it not even a line what is this pill?

I can't find a listing for this particular tablet, but I can tell you that it is an over the counter product. The company that uses the L, followed by 3 additional numbers doesn't manufacture any prescription products.

They are sold all over the U.S. and several other countries, as the generics or store brands of popular over the counter medicines.

what company is it that uses the L, followed by 3 numerals? If you would identify it, that might help us to figure out what these pills are. I already knew mine were OTC before I came across this thread by searching on what I know about the pills. Mine are in a retail blister pack. There are six pills left out of ten or twelve originally. The remaining foil backing reads

"CH TABLET CONTAINS:
E HYDROCHLORIDE 25MG.

REMOVE TABLET, PUSH
THROUGH FOIL.

GED BY: 59606 BP819109"

I think I may have identified the six pills in a foil backed blister pack. I believe they may be diphenhydramine HCl, also known as benadryl. Apparently, these particular pills expired 5/98, which may explain why "L053 yellow round pill" is not recognized by any current database.
